I use XP, have been using it since Vista was launched.
A GOOD HINT TO EVERYONE : I always use the PRE-LAST Windows OS. There, most bugs have already been fixed and they are always supported for a very long time still. I NEVER step over to the newest OS, since most of the times, they have too many little bugs and you need fixes all the time. And mostly, they are not THAT different or special in comparison to the previous version.

pick any host OS that you like and virtualise the rest... eg. like linux but want to play online poker - no problem... have Linux as host and install VMware (or VirtualBox, or any other that will support OSs that you want) and then create virtual XP/Vista/7/etc

I use Linux Mint, in my eyes the best distribution for the normal user. Everything worked out of the box! There are many poker rooms with a flash version, which runs on almost every PC. For the poker rooms that are not that modern I use VirtualBox/Windows7.

i'm using windows 7 !
When you have a LAN at home there's nothing better ! No more BLank windows when i try to watch shared docs on my father PC and better speed also for transferring files between my 3 pcs, it never gives a blue screen and if you have an application crash the rest of the O.S. still works !
This time microsoft made a good product ! (But it still has some installation problem xD ... ehy we can't pretend the perfection xD )

I bet Microsoft made Vista useless on PURPOSE so that customers would run in pure panic after windows 7 ... windows doesnt have any competitor so its a free market for them = they can do whatever they want.
