My first ever freeroll  0
Well registered with Ultimatebet this morning and played my first freeroll turnament, and I just started playing poker yesterday. I was in first place for a long time and with only 27 ppl left i got KK! and went all in because the 3ed placed player was at the table as well, he went for it but he had AA!!! so unfortunate, but now i have a seat at their ultimatefreeroll. What ever that is...

thats when you risking whole stack to one over pair at tournament Blink ... if you let him just like 1/2 chips you should still win and now you are out Smile .. rember even pocket pair is only pair !

If you think you can fold to a all in raise than you could just reraise 3 times he had put Pre Flop, but if you can't fold don't worry this things happens

If you know opponent have AA and you have KK why should you go all in - - ? thats stupid post ...

I think the point of the post was that if you think your opponent has AA, but most likely he hasn't so you should still go with it. But knowing that he has AA is a completly different picture... Smile

exactly... there is no way to know that you are beat preflop when u have KK... especially late in the tournament... that is a push hand

I personally am very cautious when it comes to pocket pairs so late in the tounament. Most of the times you will only get called by AA. This happens frequently. Many of the times that I made final table and won, I folded JJ QQ and even KK when there was more than 2 players all-in.

See that is what seperates me from players that have played for quite awhile... I'll remember that but it just seems so odd to fold KK but i should only do that if some one calls me right away right?

Heh why should you fold KK : )on final table thats the important thing since on this part of tournamnets every one will call all in whit low pair and QJ etc .. so its time ti kick them ! Big Smile Cool

I folded KK and then I won the tourney. I´m not putting all my stack in the pot, after 5 hours to lose to some moron who keeps going all in with Ax.

It doesn’t really look like people are agreeing on all theories on how to play. I guess I should just try to find my own strategy and hope it holds, if not, then I at least had fun playing, and hopefully I'll have fun playing many tournaments to come, although getting a little Dollar while I do it would be alright! Big Smile

Playing Multi Tables tournaments is an art. Sometimes you have to fold some pretty good hands becouse you are thinking about getting ITM and stuff, other times you go all in with bad hands becouse its that or you are out anyway. Lots of fun... Big Smile

I've also played that tourney a couple of times (1000 freeroll). There are quite a lot of people... I think close to 5000 or something. But sure you will make a change. But don't forget... All the players there have maked it to the top 30 of the daily freerolls Blink

phuu 5000! thats a lot and if it goes on for 8 hours then it'll be really really late for me since, well I'm in the same time zone as you guys so you'll know what time it is... But no matter what i just have to finish amongst the last 50 as far as I can tell... But that still might take some time, but there are a cupple of days till sunday maybe I'll get lucky with the $25 coming into my account from BRM
