I am so mad right now. Because my connection went for 20 min. whilst I just have started a heads up so I lost ad leads 5 if not 10 $ because of my crabby Mobile connection

Heh well i dont like it either i had some isues when i had 5$ or more in pot ( limits 0.05/.1) and my connection broke of there wasnt disconect protection ... was pretty expansive lag

Oh..tell me..i hate that. Last night i was playing nl hold'em, and pot was around 12$ and ofcorse i had three of a kind, and my connection crushed. It usually doesn't happen, but it ruined everything.

i was on one site that is really good if u lose or connection if will wait on u the next 90 secounds i find this idea is really good that schould make all poker sites will be fair did u think so?

lol if he using a mobile connection maybe he means a phone connection ISDN if i am sure they are really slow it is not good enuff to play on this internet and that can ruin u

i hope this too i think u have on of the best connections in the world i know one person they has downloaded a file that was really big in few minuts...that is really bad what happened here dont know what she use

Do you know which sites have disconect protections ? i saw it on some but dont know pointly but i think on stars and full tilt there is nothing like that unfortunatly :/

Yes I using 3 Mobile 7 mb because of my living arrangement. I live in a very small apartment and i constant look out for a new place so I Wooten barter with a fastnet connection.

Dont most sites have Diconnection protection, so at the time when u disconnect if your in a hand u can only win what is in the pot, so u dont loose anything but u cannot win anymore as your cards are automatically shown if its heads up.

Yes but I don't think a HU will wait for 20-2 min.

i know that most sites only have it for limit games because there is less of a chance for abouse, say in a limit game somone pushes all and you think its a bluff, but dont want to commit your whole stack with top pair when there is a possible str8 on the board ie 9JK and you got AK, you just cut the internet and then see who wins.
i know that red kings have dc protection for limit, but everest is the only site i have seen with it for nl. however after you use it twice it wont regenerate for like 3 more days

I have alot of problems with my connection too. I live far out in the country and I cant get DSL or cable modem out here. The only alternative to dial up is using satellite service and they are so expensive here.

Sorry to hear that. I have dropped out of $10.000 tourney because my ISP picked the right time for maintanance. And for refund thing, dont even bother im sure theres a clause in the bottom of the page written in small letters stating that they are not responsible for any damages that may occure during maintanance. So either way youre screwed. You can write a complaint but thats it. I like Dial up because only time you cannot connect is if entire network is down and that is not happening often. Bad thing about dial up is short disconnect protection time for dial up users to reconnect. Im using ADSL, so dont get confused.
