I'm a little ashamed of my poor bankroll management and how much I've lost in the last six months. Haven't actually lost anything since I built it up from zero in the first place but it's gonna look very bad. I'm not that bad a player I promise.

------------
This tourney will no doubt give a good indication of who can play good poker but of course luck will help a lot. Thinking about this league idea, it would be a good idea to include results from this tourney in which case the rules/format would have to be set up before. So I thought I'd make the first suggestion here. That way i'm not creating a wasteful thread if no one agrees with the format or if no one is interested in a league at all.

My suggestion would be a points based format to allow people of a larger and smaller bankroll and people with more and less options of playing to be included in the same league. By playing and not winning points you will lose points. This will mean that players who play more tourneys do not get an advantage and tourneys can take place on several sites or different times without any disadvantages for some players.

So people who join this tourney in two days time would each pay two points. (They'd have to agree first by posting their username in the league thread in order to prevent disputes and confirm their participation. ) The points then become a prize pool so if 20 people play, first might get 18 points, second 13, third 7, fourth 2 points. Leaving them on +16, +11, +5 and 0 and everyone else on -2. People joining the league would always start on 0 so total points would always add up to zero.

What do you think guys?
