Zmx, the character "@" is pronounced "at", so when people write "(at)" in relation to an e-mail adress, it's just a way to trick spam bots from picking up the e-mail address. I won a ticket to the freeroll today but when i try to register it says sorry i'm not invited Can someone please help before the game starts I would really like to play in todays game

You cannot register yourself. Party Poker does all the registration based on a list we send them during the first few minutes of each day. I don't know exactly WHEN they do the registration - but if you submitted wrong accountname (or a screen name instead of your accountname), then they cannot register you. Also it requires a real money account, so if you've never had real money on your account, they cannot register you either.
And lastly, your post does not belong in this thread as it has nothing to do with the topic - please remember that next time

Hmm, why won't it let me register. My name is on the list of players in the tournament but it says i'm not invited when i try to register

Opps i'm sorry Admin i will remember this in future Thank you for your help I have a real money account. I've put about $2500 through party poker in the last few months lol

That was great!!...but stressy... I was one of the final 4. It was tough not trying to kick anybody out, I was getting good cards. I was careful for Soul and Sean, but it wasn't easy. Nice call Soul. Sorry for Avil...

Yeah you guys played great. Island you dominated most of the game with your huge stack Sould you played very well too.
Unfortunately for the last 40 hands i had some really bad cards and made alot of folds lol. Was nice to finish in top 3. Considering i was out playing pool and had to rush back to play lol. I had 2500 chips when i got home cos the blinds had eaten some of my chips, i went down to below 2000 chips at one stage too lol. I'm very pleased us 3 made it to the main event
At least in the main event the play will be more professional. Alot of people in this tournament played very loose, i almost got busted by some donks but managed to fold before it was too late lol.
I hope to see you guys on the final table of the main event

Yeah it was pretty stressful lol. I had to play so tight cos i have gone out on the bubble like that so many times from bad beats. I think Avil was pushing all in too much and trying to steal blinds. I'm so pleased Soul called him. Pretty good play Soul, to think that i doubled up from you half way through the game and you still manage to come back and take the crown LOL! Awesome job guys

Thanks, dude. The only thing i don't like about the final is the party poker tournament structure. It's going to be an awful all in festival in the latter tournament state i think.

Good idea, i was going to watch last night (saturdays game) for the same reason but i forgot lol..
The best advice i can give is to play vry tight. Alot of people winning these tickets are amatuer players. Alot of my raises were called in the first 30 mins and when i finally saw what they were holding i was amazed.
Example:
BadBeat (his name was actually "Badbeat" too LOL) called a 600 chip raise and he was holding Q/4 offsuit.... He won the pot but i folded on the turn and let him go up against someone else lol. I was holding KK the flop was something like Ah 3d 5d, i fold after a large raise. And the turn comes 8s and river comes 2.
Badbeat hits his straight.... the other guy was holding A / 2 and hit 2 pair....
Playing against fish is not always fun..... It is DANGEROUS lol!
Just be careful, don't make too many bluffs... infact bluffing is a bad idea against fish as they will call anything lol. Good luck if you make final table

Yeah that does suck about Party sometimes. But just remember, only good players are going to be in the main event, maybe a few fish would have slipped through lol but mostly decent players. I think.... if everyone is a decent player.... they will be playing quite tight because they want to make the final 20. I have a good feeling i will be seeing you on the final table dude! You played great today. I think i played quite good myself considering i didnt have many good hands lol. My best hand was that flush i got against you LOL.
I think maybe we should get an email together and request 20 min blinds for this event because at the moment they are 10 min blinds..... 10 min blinds suck and take alot of the skill out of the game. It's like you say... ALL IN FESTIVAL ... because blinds are so high come final table that you need to try and blind steal just to make back some chips.
I will make a new thread now for people who have qualified. I will also email PArty and see if they would be open to suggestions on blinds limits. I have deposited ALOT of money on PArty and i hope they will listen to me lol.
I only realised about the 10 min blinds.... that will suck... and it will become more luck than skill to win the ticket.
It's liek playing a turbo game.. there is no skill in turbo, it jst comes down to how the cards fall...
