I try to get as many chips in as possible before the flop. So it is raise, reraise, all-in if possible. Limping is rarely an option.

i thought you want to get money in by slowplaying...

who slowplay aces will defnitly loose more than 20%!...

depends, if your willing to fold ( that took me almost 2 years to do so, but now a days no problem - any time) then its allright to slowplay.
its just obvious if you limp and after a raise you reraise big time, then everyone is like "ok its yours"..except some who are sleeping. so best is what can happen if someone gets reraised after his raise and you put him all in...
if i multitable then i might slowplay sometimes (all depends on the table) but 99% of the time id play like shokaku

I nearlyalways raise i don't want to get some badbeat cause people get into action with crap hands and got 2 pairs or something...
I also limp very rarely and i need to know something about the enemy.

i think that with poket aces you can win small or big but normally when you lose you lose big unfortunatly anyway you will win more often than losing with AA Cool

I usually raise preflop then raise the by the pot size on the river & turn. obviously you have to take the board into consideration. but id prob agree with 80%. think iv busted out more times with AA against KK then i care to think about. Hate those trip kings! Aww crap!

All-in before the flop because it is often an opponent with bad card after flop can get a better hand.

I only play AA in position, im on micro stakes atm so I could make a 4 bet raise out of position and be called by the BB holding A,8 suited and get destroyed by the flop. Happens all the time, when you have a go at the players for calling you raise with rubbish you get a typical response of 'I was defending my BB or A,8 is a monster!' lol. Players who watch pros defending their position dont realise that they are watching a highlights programme of a tourny and that they dont defend every blind they are on!! I played a few $11 and $22 buy ins and i found i could actualy play poker on there, and use strategy and experience to good effect. To sum up, AA is useless unless your playing people who understand the game. It seems the fish are really good at upsetting the odds.

rant over.

Basically, there's just one way to play AA, and that's just to RAISE THE HELL OUT OF EVERYONE PREFLOP. The point here is to get as much money in the pot with AS FEW PLAYERS AS POSSIBLE!!!

After the flop, the story changes and here is where you need your reading skills most of what would beat you on the flop are 2 pairs, or set/trips. Also you would need iron discipline to fold your AA in case youre read indicates that you're beaten w/ a very small chance of a redraw.

Just my 2 cents.

guess you get me wrong. or i explained to less.
What i ment is limping in giving all players a cheap flop. Next one calls too, Small Blind must call than and BB checks. 4 Players at the Flop means that you will loose more than 80%. But thats you own fold than.
