really? I just figured they'd assume not to actually give you disposable money, rather register in the tourney, arrange tickets, etc.
I guess another way of looking at it, is it's better for a poker room to put the money into your account and let you decide whether or not to spend it on the WSOP. It's obviously far more profitable for them to allow you to instead spend it at their poker room and generate them a bunch of rake.
Personally, if I got the money in my account, no fkn way I'd buy a WSOP ticket. If I suddenly received a $14K bankroll, I'm not going to spend it on plane tickets/accommodation and a $10K MTT entry.
Interesting (UB & AP putting it in your account).
I'd just withdraw $10K and then keep a $4k bankroll.
Anyway, yes I realise you were waiting on admin here, I'd be interested in hearing the response too.
I hope they dont put money in your acc., i want Private Jets, Limo's, Dom Perignon, Penthouse suite the f@#king LOT!!! Oh yeah - and my BRM T,shirt and cap - for the final table - naturally.......

Very well sorted out dlkiv, thnx... which means that you are obliged to go there and play... and nod your head to the pros at the seminar when they'll insist that maybe it's no good idea to go all-in with your 9-4 offsuit after a 3x raise...
But that's the PartyPoker policy, I think that FTP has a different approach on their WSOP qualifiers. I got the impression that in FTP they register you in the main event, but sure you can unregister, and actually put the $12,000 in your account

I know for sure that they encourage you to take your mother-in-law with you, so that they can make backstage videos about her and how close you are together.. always nicely hosted by Kara Scott......
