Has poker caused you to sleep through your alarm in the morning?

Hi SCDossett.
I don´t play all the tourmanents i want for that reason. Late registration is horrible for tha players who has a limited time, and worst if we live in Europe.. I decided play tournaments only in the weekend.

Nice story Yesterday I played poker at night. It was about 1:00 am. I started a sit'n'go. There are still 5 players, and I don't know what happened... I fall asleep, and the next thing what I saw the time is 5:30 am. The tourney has ended, so I turned of my pc and go back to sleep.
It's hard to leave the table when everything goes well. Played the 250$ freeroll at Partypoker once. It started 24.00 local time, and I guessed there was at least 15.000 players. After three hours of playing there was still 800 players left. I went to bed as chip leader with 900.000, but ended up at 30th or something, winning 1$. Waste of time, but I couldn't keep playing another 3-4 hours.

Thats brilliant. I found that the funniest thing in this thread so far. To be so tired you fall asleep without even noticing it. Now thats dedication

i can feel what you went through, as most of the tournaments also start pretty late for me and unless i have next day off, its hard for me to play if i wanna play that tournament.

Hello everybody! Yes it does happen. Some weeks I go to bed too late every night to play a little poker lol! But in the end it's too hard to get up and arrive on time and more. It just does not do both.

Posted by DaMessiah666: Conclusion: never trust on late registration ... In Pokerstars is a nightmare: extended late registration lasts 90 minutes and is a very attractive situation to register because people start playing at the moment. For next time, take this in account By the way ... congratulations
that's just one of the things i hate about PS. It's crazy. On FT at least it's only in the first blind level.
Horrible!! On Full Tilt it usually goes until Level 6, so that is what happened here. gets crazy there too. You sit expecting about 50 players, and it ends up at 350! When you're short of time, 1 table S&g's are the only sure thing.

Posted by SCDossett: Last night i got back from the movies at about 11 30 and just wasn't ready to hit the sack yet, so i opened up Full tilt and there was a $2 tourney with 40 entrants starting in a minute. I thought to myself thats the ticket and decided i could play that then head off to bed.
30 minutes later i had doubled up and was coming 70th. At this point i went huh? and checked the lobby. The entrants had gone from 40 to 200 during the late registration tournament. After about 4 hours of play i ended up coming third but it was four in the morning.
I went to bed and just couldn't bring myself to crawl out of it in the morning for my law of intellectual property lecture. Winning felt good, but i feel kind of guilty now.
im the hardest person in the world to wake up, i slept thur a 6.1 earthquake only 15 miles away many years ago

A 21 year old guy who can't roll through the night and keep going the next day, what the f**k are you going to do when you are 41? When I was your age you know how many times I would drink and party all night and drag my butt to work and get through the day anyways? Blah blah blah blah your age blah blah blah younger generation blah blah blah.
The 20s were my best years. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Enjoy them!
