June 1st is the set dat for all us online players to get together and protest agains the UIEGA withe reguards to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. This Act will make it harder for them to play online poker – unless they can find other means to get online and play without being detected. How do you all feel is the best way to stand up for our fellow players over in the states? As far as I can see the idea is ATM for all players to jump on-line and get playing. Withot the US I think poker will hit an all time low, show your support. PLAY PS or FT on June 1st

@pokersztar http://www.uigea.net/ Hope that helps. It come in to force on the 1st, but might be pushed back to November (i think) thanks to a great guy called Barney Frank, who is fighting thier corner. With the added fact that IMSA has accepted the IIFP as a member organization. (This means that poker is now officially a mind sport) then there might be hope for poker in the US yet. http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id...
I don't think it will be changed but I hope. I'm against this kind of censorship and I don't understand the reason why it has been applied. It's more or less what happens in Italy where is not allowed to play online cash games but it has been sold 20 Euros scratchcards and Superenalotto jackpot is often higher than 100 million Euros
