I ALSO THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE A MAXIMUM BUY PER DAY. LIKE 10 POINTS A DAY IS THE MOST YOU CAN BUY. This would make it different from the mob draw, and also favour regular posters who log on every day. Solves 2 problems in one go!
Also, the 60 payout structure looks good. Something for everyone, and we won't get a bunch of rants if one winner never posts.
If you keep it to 1 point= 1 ticket, we'll have a draw spread out over time (days/weeks), so there won't be any "crazy" ticket buying. Just a steady investment in the POT from people who log in regularly, and an effective draw every couple of weeks.

Sounds like a really good idea has admin approved of this/said it would be possible? Also, i like IslanJacks idea of having this swaying in the direction of regular mobsters

Unfortunately not. We discussed it but we don't have the ressources right now, to do more than put this one in the "idea pile" for now.
I'm guessing the course of events would be: - the draw happens, some lucky guy with no previous participation in the forum wins - lucky guy proceeds to request a massive mobpoints cashout - BRM bankrupts, no more freerolls, no more NDBs, no more nothing

The points can be turned into cash. 5000 = 50 $. What you can use the cash for, is up to yourself.
And yes, you would probably win, since it is alomst always newcomers that do so. Edit: Ooops. I see now that I answered quite an old question. Never mind.

thar is a very good idea; but i hope someday brm would come up with a software that will have a mob points buy-in and a mob points pay-out... a multi-tabled tourney only for brm members... isn't that nice too...
