Has any one see this show in the uk it's a bit poker ish. you can win £1 million whaich would be nice lol you can play along online for fun. I do think it would be a lot harder to play for really though.

How does it work? How is it that you "play along"? I mean, it sounds interesting, but I don't get it from the post, and I've googled it and can't find it

Play alng here http://themillionpounddrop.channel4.com/ But its nothing like poker. You start with 1 mill, and get asked a question, you split the money and place it on to the possable answers or put it all on 1 if you know the answer, if your wrong your money drops in to a pit and you go to the next question with the remaing money and repeat. Its crap.

I think it's good and it is like poker in the fact that you have to make some big bet under a hell of a lot of pressure on a coin flip.. On Wednesday's show a couple lost half a million on a %50 %50 question, which must have sucked for them lol

With respect, in that sense any game with pressure is like poker, from whats on the box deal or no deal is probably the closest, as odds can be calculated. This is a game of generall knowlage, and i find it very hard to relate it to poker. In poker you are playing a player, most important, you can bluff, enduce and be able to calculate outs and odds. Its closer to bingo, but if you play i-poker i catch your drift. Also with poker you start with a sum and hope to leve with mmore, here you start with a sum and hope to leave with something.
