They believe that Argentina is a great candidate to win the World Cup soccer??
Maradona has a good team, you still have doubts with the players invited for screening, some you do not like?

Argentina have great players (Messi, Milito, Tevez, Higuain, Aguero, Mascherano etc.), but your "weak spot" is Maradona. I'm not sure Maradona is good choice for Argentina's national team manager.

We have very good players..
but I would have called Cambiasso and Zanetti, they were champions with the inter with a very high standard of play and should not keep them out.
Go Argentina !! I want to see champion as in 86' !!! Big Smile Big Smile Thumbs Up

Argentina only just qualified and Maradona is an awful coach, if they didnt have Messi they wouldnt get through the group stages

I disagree. Messi in Argentina's classification was less then his own level. If Messi had played as he knows, like in Barcelona, Argentina didn't had to wait until last match to classify!
Anyway, Messi is god so ... it's easy that Argentina wins this year.

Yes Argentina is one of the great candidate to play the final this year only because Messi is there and a few more good players but to win the final you need a good coach to and i`m sorry to say this but Maradona is not that coach.

I agree with you, for my weak point is Maradona, has good players, but I find that to be the best player the world to be coach of Argentina National Team, is a major change, I hope to do well, but I have not confidence, thank you for your opinion.

I agree with you, i am shcoked that a player can win a trebble including the champions league and not get picked in his national team!

Saying that tho, Cambiasso, Senna and Viera all havent been picked for their national teams, i dont thin holding midfielders suit the cut throat style of the world cup.

ENGLAND TO WIN!

I agree with you, Maradona is not a good coach, I apologize to my brothers from Argentina, but Maradona is not good!

Everything is possible. Argentina has the world best player and others great players. I still think Spain is the main favourite. Hope it will be a great tournament

Maradona will have to mix up all the talents he has in his team and make them a soccer team: I don't know if he will be able to do it.
he has not the experience as trainer like other opponents: but when he was a player he did things impossible for all the other players I hope he can do the same.
I don't think Italy will do a good world cup and my favourite team is going to be leo messi's argentina

PS: big mistake for maradona not to call cambiasso and zanetti, I have watched them playing here for years now ... thay are great players and seriuos guys
