BRM WSOP freeroll on Saturday (part 2)  0
Another issue came to mind last week:

Whoever wins the WSOP package should be absolutely sure that he/she can actually attend the WSOP. Otherwise you would be better off with one of the other prizes such as a Monthly Million entry etc.
The package is probably NOT transferable, and it would be a HUGE loss if someone won it and is absolutely unable to go to Vegas for the WSOP.

Therefore, I suggest that if you already know you cannot make it there, it would be important to point this out at the final table and that way a deal could be made for the package and the other playable prizes.

This is just a suggestion, of course, and I am curious as to who agrees that this is an issue.

dont stress about it.
I've already won it as far as I'm concerned and I can go (LexSteel2009 is my nick).
All you other guys are pretty much playing for 2nd - 20th prizes Cool

I am definitely not going for the first prize. I never played live and WSOP is not the best way to start it. I will probably s**t my pants when the first hand is dealt and they will have to remove me from the tournament because according to the new WSOP rules you can't stink at the table Sad

IslandJack, why do you say in the title of your thread that the freeroll is on Saturday when it is on Sunday? Want to confuse us to reduce competition? Blink

I completely agree with the suggestion in the first post. Since this is a big deal and a once in a year event, its imperative that it should not go to waste. This is merely a question of being responsible fellow gamers. We all have common sense here, so if you can't make it, make sure that you make arrangements to address it.

I will be running for the package too. Not telling I'm going to win. But I will try for sure.

Hi,if I be player with most amount of chips at final table I will make a deal with someone who wants to go to Las Vegas but how to arrange it,this player who make a deal with me for 1st prize must put 4-5000$ on my account at Party or Moneybookers and only in that terms I will make a deal and let him to go in Vegas,I think it's correct it's 9000$ less,if someone think about it make sure that you have 4-5000$ on his account to make a deal possible Thumbs Up

Don't lie Tongue.
On every other sites like Pokestars and FTP u can resign for WSOP...
BECAUSE REGISTERING TO WSOP IS PERSONAL AND ONLY YOU CAN REGISTER - poker room can't register you.
That why every Poker Room give the 10k to the player so he can register ^^.
Ofc dunno what terms are with PP (maybe i am wrong (yes i conside smth like that i know weird) and PP make some other deals)

Ok. Looked it up again on Party to make sure.
Rules:

"18. No cash alternative is available for the Prize in whole or in part and regardless of how long the Winner remains in the Event. Winners must not sell or transfer their WSOP Prize Package to any third party and winners are responsible for the payment of any applicable tax, if any, due on winning the Prize, and/or any prize money won by participating in the Event."

Sound slike you HAVE to play it or nothing.

@schwabo:

Good luck Buddy, but I don't think it's going to happen. Big Smile
If anybody was SO sure that they will cash in the WSOP, they would've already signed up and paid the $10.000.
The goal here is to get a FREE package. Blink
I think this way you will just get a useless WSOP ticket, and the 4 behind you will get a $640 entry to MM.

Anyway, we have to make the final table first... lol Cool

It's at Party Poker. And it starts 20.30 eastern europe time, so you can calculate if you want. But if you are from US, then you can't play at Party Poker. Club
