Wow, that's crazy man. Pshhh, I guess some people are really damn good at online poker. Ya, tourny and cash are two very different disciplines. I definitely need to improve my cash play. I pretty much only do tourneys and sit and goes.

haha yea dude. Im thinking the same thing - on another thread most players said that Dwan dont know how to play tourneys - think this will shut em up now.
Theres still 3 players left - Simon Watts 7,2M chips, David Randall 1,3M and Dwan 3M. Break just started. I think Randall will drop out soon and then its heads up time
------------ And Randall dropped out - Dwan and Watts now HEADS UP PLAYING FOR WSOP BRACELET
OMG, Dwan is playing heads up at the world series of poker? Best of all it's a $1500 buy in events with 2k entrants LOL... yeah for sure he's doing it for the 2 millions challenge but can he do it? I'm still not sure
Tom Dwan and the dealer are the only people sitting in the ESPN final table area as the flop falls {8-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{A-Spades}.
The crowd explodes into a chorus of sounds, some calling for cards, others celebrating red/black side bets. Dwan remains seated, silent.
The {A-Diamonds} turns and Dwan finally stands, contempt with his fate. He needs one of three queens in the deck and the room falls silent as the dealer wraps the table...
The very second the {k-Hearts} hits the river Dwan shakes Watt's hand and heads directly for the exit.
"I can pick up my stuff tomorrow, right?" he asks a tournament director as he scurries off.
The director nods yes and Dwan is out the door.
It is an amazing accomplishment to final table one of these large, $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em events at the World Series of Poker, let alone get heads up. Congratulations are in order for Tom Dwan, and so too is his prize money; $381,885.

Hope he can win. He already proved that he is best cash game poker player. If he can improve at tournaments he surely be considered the best surpassing Ivey

Well, even if he was 2nd in this Event #11 1.5k tourney I believe he has already proved that he really is one of the best in poker world, no matter is it cashgames or tourney then.
Even tho it was clear he was playing for bracelet, finishing 2nd in his first WSOP event with more than 2500 players field is remarkable and this result should shut up all the mouths that didnt think he can be tourney player

2nd is the first loser. At the WSOP only braceletts do count.
Looks like Dwan tried to bluff the wrong player.
lol, tell me you are joking with this post? 45 year old man criticising 2nd place and almost 400k winner that Dwan didnt proved itself lmaooo. Some users can really surprise with their stupidity in this forum

Nope.
With the huge number of tourneys in the WSOP a 2nd place will be forgotten at the end of the summer. Yep, 2nd place pays nice money, but i don't think that is what Dwans is aiming at.
