Another ticket made from 1000 pkr points and thru 4 levels lol. But well worth it. Im gonna play it on 4th Septhember. There is one in 2 days also on 7th August, but my lady has a borthday on 8th of Aug, so no way Im going to play it in 2 days lol.

Its a bit of a WAR atm between ''The Community'' versus ''PKR'', the community simply dont want PKR2.0 but PKR want us to believe that PKR2.0 is the best for PKR and his community. Many players withdraw and keep their roll low, the former high stake players are gone or ''just watching'', the new high stakes is now the middle stakes, but at very low traffic. Its very obvious the community doesnt want 2.0 but PKR keeps it pluming down our troath basicly saying ''get used to it''.
A very strange situation atm, the majority of the playerbase is online but dont play, simply refuses to play, PKR's rake getting lower and lower each day but still refuse to do anything but invest in an release that doesnt work. The community is very strong and imo the majority is so pissed that its for them ''rerelease the old version or die''.
We ll see wot happens, this situation cant go forever, PKR is losing money evryday and allthought PKR is a very solid company losing so much rake will affect them.

^ it's a worry.. Im just starting to rebuild a nice roll there again. And TBH i prefer the new site and I certainly prefer multi-tabling on the new site. I couldn't stand the old side bar multi-table. My only beef with the new multi-table is that the writing becomes fuzzy, but im sure they can fix that.
Otherwise, just some other bugs that can be fixed. IMO V2 isn't all that bad as the PKR forums says.. But I guess the opinion is really guided by that other the high stakes regs... Be interesting too see what happens..
I've always thought another room would be more suitable anyway.. So I guess if PKR starts to really fail I'll look elsewhere..

I talked yesterday also with support and they told me 2.0 is going to stay and they will not bring old look back. But they promised that they will change a lot of things in new version (starting with cash tables) and fix the bugs. I asked personal opinion also and Gareth told me that he likes the 2.0 more than old one, but I think he said it just because hes being watched as he works in support lol.
Hmm, in a strange sort of way i like the new PKR. At core, its essentially the same thing it used to be; a 3D poker site with "improved" features although its still really buggy and alot of things about it are not making me too excited to play there i.e. the lobby. However, im glad they fixed the multitabling, it used to drive me up the wall in 1.0. All in all, i defintley won't be moving my major playing to PKR, i will keep it as it is with around $100 or so and play just very recreationally when i need a break or having a couple drinks lol

I played a few hours yesterday on two tables, and then, as I got drunker, I downsized to one table, and it sort of grows on me. (As expected.) My few years old computer used to every now and then have problems with PKR, but I seem to remember it going pretty smooth yesterday. Although it might have been just good luck.
So, in conclusion: In the beginning I did not like it, but sort of suspected I would get used to it, and at the moment I'm on my way there. IMHO it is not a total disaster. Having played maybe 3 or 4 hours altogehter.
The interested reader (if there is any such strange creature) may get another report in a few days.

I tried PKR for 1 night and never played there again. It was too slow and I don't think my ego was big enough to play there. I guess it's ok for people who like to impress others by playing an animation of someone flipping chips through their fingers

Think PKR 2.0 new interface is a huge mistake, i tried to multi 4 tables with multiple session, really cant do it, and some1 who says he can is just a big liar sry.... After 1 week got really sick and tired and withdraw a big part of my roll, now have left $125 and many PKR points and tickets worth close to $800. I gonna play my points and play all tickets and sometimes come back for a freeroll or a added MTT cos they have great value.
So searching on the net now for a good deal, PKR is not an option anymore cos its simply 1 of the worst pokerrooms on the net, sry for all the die-hard fans cant say it diffirently it sucks big time. Anyway am intrested in DoylesRoom, very good 1st dep bonus, 33% rakeback, many reload bonusses and good VIP system, this deal giv me sometin like 55%/60% back which is lower then i had at PKR but still very good.

Yes it is, so very disappointed in PKR, really thought i gonna up my roll to 100K there and then change rooms and try to be semi. Also was 6 months away for being the highest VIP level which giv me also some value. But nothing i can do, PKR sticks to their policy ''get used to it'' so no other options but leaving.

i was the same at vc poker on ipoker network, playing Dons was building my bankroll pretty high and was getting loads of points and cashback untill they change it, also had to leave, just as you where getting some where always sumert to pull you back down again,

Well I just gave it ago, for me it is an improvement, I can see why regs say its not, but I think it is, Multid 4, much better lay out, can see what is going on, and IMO no slower than it used to be 34HPH today. I like the game finder, makes things quick and easy. Didnt spend a huge amount of time there about an hr, Dont see what all the fuss is about, PPL complaining about the graphics and leaving to outher sites...cause the graphics are much better elsewere?? Couldent find any bugs but Im sure there are a few, also worth noting they are still tweeking the new anamation engine so I guess soon things will go alot faster 60HPH is a good target I think. Over all a good move IMO for PKR...with more updates in the line. /b1gfoot performs his Bounce Stack
