Stars 600% bonus, i deposit in gbp but converted to us dollars automatically. US dollars have to earn 170fpp to release $10, but those who PLAY in gbp have to earn 260fpp. So .... i have to earn 260fpp even though i play in dollars. That means british players have to earn 90 more points to get a bonus. thats fair?

As far as i can see, you can only play on Stars in USD or EUR. Definitely not gbp. Where do the gbp come in? Your money gets converted to USD and you play in USD, so I don´t get it...

OK. I think I got it.
Just saw today that more or less the same happens on bwin when depositing in EUR. I play in USD and they take a conversion every time as wel on the EUR account, as well as the bonus conversion. I paid more to get the bonus in $ as well. Sneaky SOB´s.....

It is really fairplay from pokerstars cause you get better paid when you reach that 260FPP. You are just one of a lucky mob member who has won everything in the first two months at here & now u waste it all by playing bad at the pokerstars tables. With 90$( wich you have won from moblottery and safe) you should be able to get the first 600% deposit bonus released easily but you have been playing with bad bankrollmanagement and lost it all; now complaining about pokerstars reliability.

The only reason this guy is making a noise at all is because he's blown every cent his got and now he is desperately trying to get PS to release a portion of his bonus before he's reached the necessary points to do so. Writing stars 19 emails I can't imagine is going to help a whole lot. Just re-deposit and try not to donk it all off at once this time.

But so what, if you're not bust. Then it hardly makes a difference. And when it is released, you get bigger chunks. IMO I'd actually prefer this anyway. I play at PKR, where your entire bonus is released at 100% and you CANNOT achieve a partial bonus, i.e: if your bonus time expires and you're at 99% then you get nothing.But you know what? I prefer that, $10 here and $10 there you hardly notice.
So IMO you're better off on stars with your 260fpp for 10gbp than 170fpp for $10US

There are some Tables in gbp at Stars - MTT Tables at the moment.
Im sure they will offer cashgame in gbp soon.
To solve your problem just change your Main Currency to gbp, you can do that in the Software-Lobby and you will see that everything is good and fair.Jessthehuman got it right, this posting says everything you must know.
