Hi
yeah....i am wondering too.
I was playing at Action poker one time,& some guy did it to me 2 times,i thought nothing until someone mention i should report him,I guess I should of paid more attention, becasue of his disconnect,I only won a small pot.
I always wondered before why people did it,I guess its to save their ass from losing their bankroll when they go all in?
I think people that do it,are telling me they have to DISCONNECT because they are just crappy player!!
LOL

Interesting to read, but what a sad way to play Poker... Confused

In fact, it has absolutely nothing to do with playing Poker, mostly playing your connection.
Glad you pointed this out though. I knew there was a trick, just paid no attention to it.
I will in the future, when someone disconnects.
Inetersting, like I said. Thanks. Blink

I'm pretty sure you used this trick when you were playing with mrnugger's money.
It's very useful when you play at one table with all you're bankroll.LMAO : Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

report it, but be sure, they will not do anything, as long as they earn money with these players... they protect only their profit, not the players!

Actually, never seen or tried it. But I get the idea, I mostly play Pokerstars or Everest, so... Perhaps just 'lucky'...

Be careful, that´s cheating and if you get caught, it´s a fraud.

Don't play on tables with disconnection protection. Simples.

What happens is, that you are treated as "all in", even though you have money left. If you win the hand, it's like you had a smaller stack than you actually had, and was all in. If you lose, you lose only the money you had put into the pot before the disconnection.

People who do this on purpose should be taken in behind the sauna and axed in the neck. Smile
