BigBet is at the Merge network, like Carbon Poker. They have a middlelish number of players. Most players come from the US or Canada. If i remember correctly the traffic at the SnGs was quite low. Easier to make the points at the cash tables

The players on the Merge network from my experience at 25 and 50NL cash games are very weak. lots of sports bettors/casino players just takin their chances I suspect. Very profitable network to play on. As for points... takes forever to earn them.

only thing I don't understand in your question is why you ask only to gays and not to everyone here; do the sexual habits influence poker related matters??
Regarding Big Bet... I'v taken an NDB with Bankroll builder promotion from them in April 2009. I started with 10 USD playing 2 tables of NL5. The opposition was soft and in no time I increased my bankroll to around 70 bucks. Then I couldn't play there for some time. Then there was a series of BRM exclusive tourneys and I started to play again. There was a glitch with these tourneys and one of them couldn't start for about a week (you can find an epic thread about it here on the forum). So, I stayed away from the site for some time. Then I decided to play again to finish the Bankroll builder promotion. When I reached the next stage of the promotion I didn't receive the bonus money. I contacted their support and they told me that the promotion had expired (though when it was offered here it clearly stated that the promotion had no expiry date). I wanted to exchange Big Bet money for some other room but couldn't find player transfer option. So, I put all my bankroll on the cash table, gambled with it and lost. What I mean, man, is make required points ASAP, grab the money and run...

yeah bigbet is easy enougth to clear. Just sit tight and im sure (if you have a reasonable grasp of poker) you'll clear it easy. BigBet is a great site I think there are lots of players with the start up bankroll and spotting them is easy. play hard and make the bankroll
