A well know bookies has gone ahead and made anonymous tables, sit down and play the good old fasiond way, NO HUD to help you out here, NO NAME for people to search out your stats, and no hunting fish. I dont have an account at the site in question as yet so cant say how much fun it is or not, but will be making one in the week to try them out. Whats your views, will you play them?, is losing your HUD -EV, can you remember to play poker without all the help of the gadgets around you....

I don't use stats when I play poker so I guess it would be to my advantage not to have others use my stats against me. But surely this makes it easier to cheat and harder to report collusion.

I tried this anonymous tables at Cool Hand poker. I dont use stats or any poker tracker/poker manager etc, so I play the same as any other table.

looks like a pretty good idea imo, i dont use a hud and think that players who use them definitely have an advantage over other players. im sure they will find many suitors for these tables.

I don't use HUD, just have a look from time to time to sharkscope but it shows tournaments/sng stats, so i definitely like he idea of those tables. expecially at higher stake (i mean from NL50 and above) I guess HUD software is almost obligatory to be a winning player
Can someone explain why it should make cheeating easier. Isn't it a great protection instead? I mean how shall collusion happen when You dont know which other players are at the table? How do You manage to get to the same table then to do collusion?

Colluder1 joins table xyz. He tells his buddy, and Colluder2 can join that table too. But the victims will never be able to figure out, that those two guys play at the same table all the time.

POssable, but I think that the tables have no names so should be a little harder to do, but still possable.
