Tom Dwan's blog has been quite dead in the past 3 months. However, he made a bigger update of his blog a few days ago. In this blog post Dwan writes about what he has been up to in the past couple of weeks - filming for Poker After Dark, a wedding, halloween, being sick, lots of traveling etc. The most interesting reading, however, is what he had to say about the 2 challenges against Patrik Antoni[...] Read more » Tom "durrrr" Dwan on the durrrr challenge

Almost 2 years rolling. If Dwan is right, then shame on Patrik, he got commited so he must finish it. But this is durrrr talking... Can he be bluffing again?

50.000 hands, normally these crazy guys make this in one month on a HU game... strange, but there are maybe other interests that we do not know. Never forget, Highstack is a PROMOTION show, not Poker...
i am really wondering if those guys are actually playing with those sums. i mean we hear 1M, 2M, but what human being would give away such an amount of money into, lets say, a 55% edge to win?? it makes me so curious ..

yeah man, they are playing for million of DOLLARS, thast the think.
in this world you can have a minimarket in a city, or had a lot of mall by all the country, most of us playing poker are like the minimarket, but otherwise there are the big markets like durr antonious ivey etc etc... thats the thing, they are like big enerprises looking for that 5% benefits over millions and millions they bet, simply and clear

I've watched Durrr play @ fulltilt. He's got a good game, in my opinion a little to cocky at times. Has a tendency to tilt easy. All in all though hes a good player, I wish him the best with these challenges. How did he do with Ivey I don't recall who won the challenge?

im not a tom fan he is a online pro and he does do that good in live tourneys i am a tourney player and i guess i just like that style better than the cash there is no one leaving or anything
I like him, want to see how he will fight with jungle - they are really top in CG players. This challenge is better than the one with Patrik. That was easy for durrr, this one will be much harder...

Jungleman is currently where Durrrr was two years ago: a feared competitor for even the most seasoned veteran, on top of his game and afraid of no one. I think Durrrr bit off more than he thought and is gonna get a chunk torn out of him by Jungleman. THIS is an interesting one to follow!
