Don't drink and play (unless you are an Aussie Blink )

But if you want to play bingo poker, Omaha high/low is the game to do it.

Sometimes alcohol is not guilty. One day I registered in a HORSE tournament instead of Hold'em. At the very first time all was fine but suddenly I got 4 cards! Then I realized I shitted. Razz was a nightmare for me and I decided to push in every hand until I was kicked off. From now I give you an advice: use filters in tournaments list. Blink

Yeah, I know this one!

- registered for a 10 euro DoN (or maybe even 25) beliving it was a 2,5 e, drunk, playing for fun and not really that much to win, and of course lost.

- registered several times for Omaha DoN:s, a game I haw no edge at all in, instead of Hold Em. I usually hold my ground here, but once I had two usual DoN:s running at the same time, and had several beers in my body. Not very good...

- registered for SnG:s several times, thinking they where DoN:s and getting mighty surprised when I thought I had, in my usual sneaky way, just squeesed myself over the finishingline letting the other players do all the work, and then the game keeps on going with me in a pretty tight spot!?!

All this happens when I'm drunk. I have not yet missregistered one single time sober. My solution tol this is to play only cashgames drunk, and play the DoN:s when I'm not. I have noticed that I actually tend to be a somewhat better cashgameplayer when I am moderately drunk, and defenetly a better DoN-player sober.

So, in the end, it all works out for the best. Smile

plo8 is goddess!!!
Id suggest you better learn to play omaha than nl hold em - it can be very profitable.
Hold em is nowadys everyones game, even my 12 year old brother owns a chipset and plays with his friends for a little cash. He sometimes plays freerolls under my account in pkr.com and he has cashed on top of the list quite a few times.
So you better play plo hi or plo8 drunk or not, but keep on playing lol, because soon youl figure out its a gold mine Blink. Otherwise you can never tell if you made a right decision by choosing only hold em nl, if you havent tried other card games Thumbs Up

Trust me I've tried. Played some limit hi/lo and it went pretty well as it was low stakes and people wasn't able to fold as long as they had a draw on anything.
Quite interesting but my favourite game is sng's and there i find it hard to get omaha started and if they finally do I'm not good enough at a full table

The only problems iv had is when playing a horse tournie and it changes from razz to stud and i am still gambling away my stack thinking i have a great razz hand to see its now stud and lost a good bit of my stack, done that at least 2 times.
I also went to play a $1 satellite to find it was an $11 sat on stars and still finished in top 27 to get $s and entry to the lambhorghini 250k grand final cpl month ago. Confused Big Smile
