bluff how do you call  0
I had A2 spades

blinds 5small blind 10bigblind

I raise to 30
player 2 calls
player 3 re-raise to 60

I call
player 2 calls

flop is 7K2

I act first to flop, i take really long, and try look what others have, then just check.
player 2 checks
player 3 checks

turn 4

I check
player 2 checks
player 3 checks

river 8 (now this is 3rd same country card, I go all in fast (140) try make look i have flush.
player 2 folds
player 3 calls after short thought

I show pair of 2s
player 3 shows pair of 4s with queen kicker off suit

haahah how can he call that, i guess he put me to AJ or AQ, but what cards were table that 4 pair doesnt look great, I dont understand how he called. And even more how he re-raised pre-flop q4 off suit

Thumbs Down

What kind of game was that? The super turbo ones at Full Tilt??? If yes then he tried to gamble as he put you weak with the double check...

no this was in the casino, not in internet at all.
but yes made little mistake when not bet on flop, when king on table, if there i would bet, he could no way continue with air. He didnt look he had king, when i tried read his behaviour.

casino players are notorious gamblers in my limited exspierience , unless he was a really good player and simply read you and as mentioned above the double check showed weakness, perhaps a bet on the flop and a push on the turn but who knows, however the casino I played in was full of part time players who played mostly blackjack and some poker and they would call just for fun, dont worry about this you will always get outplayed at times , get stupid calls, badbeats , the list gos on , in the end it was only one hand and one pot if he keeps making calls like that he will soon be on the rail

Never bluff a monkey!

And as you played it, it looks a lot like a steal at the river. But that hand is strange on any street.

true I should of added that in my post never try and bluff a bad player you have much better odds when bluffing a good player as he is more likely to believe what you are trying to represent , unless he knows that you know that he knows what you know and then the s**t can hit the fan!!!lol, lol

You shouldn't have gone all-in FAST. This way it looked exactly what it was: bluff.

Also, it is difficult to judge the hand if you don't post the limits and card suits.

What kind of play is that? Bluffing on the river. You know that only weak players try to bluff on river? If you bluff on turn youre story would have sense and if you get called on turn he wouldnt call on river. That was really good call by him. Guy have read you well Thumbs Up

well in todays poker are lots of players who would pay on anything, preflop, flop or river so you can expect everything and even you think that you have better hand!maybe the best way to see is he bluffer to watch some hands how he play and to see is he just aggressive or he have something and then to play againts him!

Not to justify his odd call but your all-in bet was less than what was already in the pot. You seem quite short-stacked to begin with, just 20bb and you got 6 in preflop with A2. I know it would be hard to fold for an extra 30 with 30 already in and another caller, but I wouldn't enter the hand short-stacked early position with A2 to begin with. And as someone already said, bluffing a flush on the river by going in quickly seems weak and I might call with any flush here.

In finnish it's "samaa maata", but if you translate it to "same country" in english, it means country as in land. Finland, Sweden. It's the same word in finnish, but in english you would say "same suit".

Sorry for being such a language nerd.

well first look can be a weird gasmplay but I figuring out why he raised u. U called out of position to a raise with a A2. I can gues that this is your gameplay and he saw it after playing with you a lot of hands. If called a raise with A2 our of position (im not going to say u are a fish) but are a quite loose player at least. All of this and the bluff on river...... make him to call you on river. He doesnt trust on you.

I still thinking was a bad call but... if u played as bad as this hand many times I would try to play with you as much as posible with any 2.
