Bad beats..  0
How awesome is it to putt youre money in with AA!? And then getting called by KK and 8-3! :O yeah thats right, 8-3! off suit.. Well its the best feeling.. until the river.. when the 8-3 makes a straight! That hurts, I mean come on! i know there are sick players and donks, but this is the end! How unlucky can you get? Sad

I get bad beats on the river from crap hands all the time! Just hold on to the fact that you played the hand well, and it was just bad luck, that way you can keep your spirits up Smile

Why are u crying? If you go AA against KK and 83o, you are playing a game which probabilities to win is 70%, 18% and 12% respectively. So ... 12 times of each 100, 83o will win. People think that pocket rockets are indestructible but they are not. Start feeling comfortable with badbeats because is a question of ramdon.

The thing is that we tend to remember when our AA is beaten by 72o but we forget all those hands when we actually won with AA. Probability doesn't lie.

Bad beats will happen from time to time, but learn to love the donks who get their money in with the worst hand, they will lose most of the time (even if it hurts when they hit). Don't discourage them when you win or lose with a superior hand by blasting them. When donk loses to me I'll even encourage him by telling him he was unlucky, and if he wins I think "Idiot" for a second and then move on, as long as I am not tilted! Learn to love the donk.

That is the way it works. Selective memory.

slightly off track but in relation to bad beats and some players who rant at the software I found the partly copied article below interesting,,

Boiling it down to the basics, a player who goes on a rant about stupid opponents or rigged software might just as well paint themselves purple with ten inch letters: "I am on tilt". Besides obviously horrible opponents, ranters are THE players to target in any game, even more so than obvious multi-tablers. You want to play against people on tilt, but you also want to be sure you don't take them off tilt by playing a weak hand at them that helps them to calm down. . These are almost always players who think they are far better than they are, and play considerably worse when losing than when winning. They will often make the game. Treasure the ranters. To a large degree, winning poker is about defeating people who act stupidly

Totally agree. One time shortstacking $10BB table, I doubled up AA vs AJ and the guy went on a rant for a good three or four minutes. All the while announcing to a table of solid high level players "I am on TILT! Come and take my money!" Within 15 minutes his stack was gone. During his rant, like you said, he told everyone how good he was and how he had withdrawn $3000 four times during his poker career. Big Smile

1 pair to flush --- Ohhh you can be a lot more unlucky than that.
Once you go al in its up to Chuck Norris to decide a winner.

Im on tilt when i call the room rigged? thats funny Agree
You dont know if the player lost 10 stupid hands in a row, or if he is just messing with you.
Sometimes i do like to act like. Omg my cards suck, i never hit. Stupid room is newbie friendly and s**t, many times they think im sick of the game and will do almost anything with any hand. When im infact waiting for that one hand that will make me look like i got enough of the game and set him up. Its all a game, even the trash talk. You cant see the person and his behavior or feelings

aa in my hands is about 40 % off wining and 60 % off loosing so its really good starting hand preflop but also is really fast beaten by some dumb funny play loving poker players ( donkeys )
so we all have bad beats and also all have some sweet moments then preflop someone have aa and u call him with lower pair and u claim set and beat aa Big Smile
good luck all Tongue

Please please please dont tell me that Midnight.

I know that in the long run uill loose loose loose, thats being happening for 3 years and i dont expect to change any soon. Since always everytime says me that, long run, we all know that what happens now its will be more or less what will happen in the future.
Its my fate loose the big pots most of the times. But there is one good thing, iam not tilting like before.

lol yea, when does the profit on the long run start? I played for 3 years aswell, but get nothing but bad beats. I just got busted as nr 100 of 700 in $10.000 tourney, losing with Ak to JT, flop AJ2 the guy raised preflop as usual to 4000 and i call. He allin on flop and i call and ofc he hit T on the river. Same story over and over and over. The long run doesent exist online lol. But i still cant stop playing Tongue
