to be fair i have seen the french get it stinking for the same stuff and i have myself reported french and a few other european country's but i know what you mean, i think this is more down to fulltilt as on pstars and pkr really the only places i played alot to have this problem the support would be on the case quick but fulltilt support is crap in my eyes and dont really care and the reason im not a big fan of the site

I think you all ought to reread my reply Full Tilt doesn't enforce their own rules so s**t it ain't just a Russian thing and all foreigners talk their language in chat at times is it right no but it happens so all you can do is just report it but it isn't just the Russians. The Romanians and Germans and French they all do it. Jack bought up a legit point so let's see what happens.

IslandJack you are right, Rusiian players are abusing the chatroom in their advantage neglecting the rules of FTP. I hope that FTP will give these violators a warning.

its not problem,this post will stay just till tony wake up and ban will be for him!this post just show that lots of people read everything on this forum,dont want to post nothing smart and first post is like this,when they want to joke with normal people!just wonder is better for him to be part of forum or to be banned!but now its only one option! and about chat ar poker sites,at poker stars I dont see that russians chat there,but I am sick of spanish people there ,on every blinds at cash games are lots of spanish players and when are 2 of them at table they just talk at spanish,I warn them one time,two times,but then I call mod to solve problem!but big problem is that he just warn them beacuse of that,he dont ban his chat,beacuse they didnt insult nobody (or we dont know that beacuse its not on english) and its big problem how they talk!and I am sick of that,they do thing like its spanish site

Funnily enough - on PKR (until the french were booted due to the new French laws) it was the french language people had a problem with - French made up the next biggest portion of the PKR player base after the UK (no US on pkr).

it is at any poker room a rule that english is the only language. There are just few times where they do accept chat in other lanbguages (at tournaments at PS for example german is accepted if it is a tournament where only german, austrians, etc. are allowed.

If you are saying that I should be banned for this post, then I think you need to look at some issues you may have in general or with me perhaps? (If i misunderstood your post, my apologies)
This is an important issue IN ANY LANGUAGE !!!
I have always requested ANYONE at the table to chat in English only. I speak 4 languages, English, Dutch, French, Spanish!
I understand almost everyone at all tables.
THE POINT IS:
Lately, the Russians have been abusing the chat rights by writing in Russian, and when requested to speak English, they lately do not comply, and start insulting me (in English!!), and laughing, joking, and doing whatever they want.
I have been playing for 1 1/2 years now, and ALL nationalities have always complied to the chat language when requested. The Russians specifically are not doing that anymore. They continue in "characters" chat, insult in English, laugh at you and try to play you off the table. It has happened 3 times to me in the last week and a half !
That is CHEATING, against the Rules in so many ways, and I am fed up with it ! There is enough "trash Talk" in Poker already, without these issues making it a lot worse.
If any other nationality does the same (be they Spanish, Italian, or Belgian!!!) I would make exactly the same post about the issue.
I AM NOT AGAINST ANY NATIONALITY OR RACE, SO DO NOT TRY TO TURN THIS POST INTO SOMETHING THAT IT ISN´T !
Rules are being broken by a certain group right now, and I am trying to do something about it, that´s all.

Wise words, but the problem is not just some friendly chat. I have no problem with that at all. If it is minimal and not abused.
If you read my post above, you will understand and, I hope, realise that this is more than just saying "hi" to each other, and makes it VERY unpleasant to play poker in these games.
If I were to let it slide, the problem would keep getting worse. I have only ever requested people to chat in English only when the chatting goes on and on and on. (in any language)
And then to get these kind of reactions lately.... No, sorry, I cannot let it slide... Insults are unavoidable for some people, but this just makes the game unfair and unpleasant, and I want to enjoy my time at the tables, as is everyone´s right.

The same thing happens with Romanians in many sites. Im translating online in google what they say in sng's and MTT, sent mail to a couple of IPoker sites with no result. They are still there and doing the same, which is freaking obvious.Im not playing in those tourneys when i see them and i try to be the last one registering for a sng to be sure. But it doesnt work every time cause of the sign, unsign lol.
Ive read that PokerStars stopped the double up sng's because of the collusion and cheating. My guess is that if other sites give a rats ass will follow too.

Very sorry you don´t get it, but i will try to explain again. And I am not just talking about freerolls, the problem is moving to real cash games and Tourneys (as I CLEARLY stated), but was apparently overseen.... Despite that, freeroll or not, the issue stays the same.
Can you imagine the WSOP, WPT. Aussie Millions etc., a table where 2 people are talking in Swedish, 2 in Flemish, 2 in Filipino, and 2 in Esperanto?
Please use some common sense before replying, and try to think a little further than you obviously have.
There are reasons for this Rule in Poker. It´s like sitting at a live table and saying "I fold" in Swahili. Who the f**k understands? Language is an integral part of Poker and all it´s many facets, and International Poker requires English. PERIOD. That´s a Rule like any other. If we let that slide people will soon just be able to talk in code and tell each other their holdings. Please... use some degree of intelligence.
A "Nationality" tournament is the ONLY exception.
I´m not trying to create a Revolution here, I´m just saying:
Let´s keep the game that we love so much intact. and if you play on a site where any nationality is abusing their chat rights, DO something about it.

nothing has changed.. im on a table right now with only rusian and ukranian for company... i reminded them that english is suposed to be spoken only for them to change their type long enuf to hurl abuse at me,then returning to their own language.. player 'AlexMBox' is being especially abusive and being able to pick out the odd bit of their langue, ie words for cards ect i know they are colluding... my only defence right now is that im playing so slow its realy getting them anoyed lol

Just received a mail from FT support that they are looking into the chat transcript that I sent them and "will take appropriate action". That´s all I wanted, and I hope everyone does the same when they are faced with this problem.
@THUGSi Just copy paste the chat text into notepad and attach to a mail to "[email protected]" All these people doing that will be warned and have their chat rights removed if they continue, which is as it should be for any language except English. Let´s keep our sites fun to play on!

but what is really sick is that you wouldnt even know here if they might talk about there hands... and in that case its getting really unfair!
