your halfway there... now all you have to do is manage your self in such a way to not let this hapen. =) theres nothing more anoying than getting 3 hours into lets say a FT leader board game only to have a mad, 'oh f*** it' moment and do your stack on 2 pair. my way of getting round this when possible is wait til ive just had the buton then sit out for ten minutes and have a break. yeah you loose a bit,but the devil on your shoulder can loose you loads more.
also,i suffer like you from a 'this is soooo slow' problem when online, mainly becoz i spent 20 yrs reading body language both as a job (auctioneer) and at the poker table (much prefer live play) however now ive discovered RUSH POKER i have found my own special place.. too fast to get board and so quick and easy to sign in and out of.. GIVE IT A GO

I know what you mean, I get that often enough, but unfortunately it´s a very important part of the game. Patience! I know what you mean though. I would love to play the $11 Deep Stacks on Full Tilt, there is quite a bit of money to be had there as well, but they play 10 to 12 hours !
I´ll do it sometime soon, but it keeps me from starting them up.

Patience is everything in poker. You can't ask for advice if you have no patience. I do agree with some who say, stop for a week or 2. But at the same time, it helps to NOT play the same games all the time. Don't let feelings control your poker style. You need to have a few simple rules in poker, like don't call stupid bets. Don't go all in just because you think someone else is bluffing. Play the button and call those hands where the button hits. Take care, play safe. A good poker player will always use their patience to their advantage. Good luck, on and off the felts...

Don't play long sessions. If you lose your focus after a few hours, just play for 1-2 hiurs and do something else after your session. You can return to the tables later.

Might want to start by taking a 10-15 min break in between sng,s or possibly longer iafter an mtt . This will allow your mind to ease out of competition mode and relax before you stress it out again with all the wish-wash that comes with competition on the felt. Sit back relax its only poker . Hope this helps with the post tramatic poker syndrome

Yea, if start to feel your patience is used but still want to play poker you can join some freerolls and let of some of your steam Or do as many of them said, have a break for the rest of the day or untill you feel you can play again. I know the feeling to well, and this is where the most of my bankrolls have been lost, because of no patience. But it about selfcontrol in the end, just like bankroll management this is a important thing to handle aswell. Try and join a freeroll and try to keep your A game even when you have no patience (If your to addicted to just stop). Its good "practice"

Damn! Just saw this tonight. What´s your name on Party, I forget?
Well, i was at the final table, made it to 3rd. Some woman from the Netherlands started insulting me in a multitude of ways after she lost a bunch of chips to me. Crazy! Then I busted her with KQ. Really nutso, that woman.

congrats for your finish ...and well done with that woman hehe!
as for xpok3rkingx..no other way to play this game than having patience and control of your emotions...not only works in poker, but in real life as well
