I just tried 2 open up UB, but my anti-virus detected malware in it and quarantined it. I always noticed that UB really slowed down my computer, but now i'm really worried.

Look guys, I worked in IT about 7 years. Anti-Virus programs will detect a lot of stuff, just to keep you safe, but often it´s off because it just doesn´t know what it actually is. And then your own judgement comes in.
UB is safe. Period. If you downloaded it from their site anyways.
So just go into your anti-virus software and mark UB as safe. That´s all you need to do and don´t worry about it. AVG is very good software. Norton is even better.
But both are trustworthy, they just don´t "know" UB software, that´s all. No worries. Hope that helps.

There probably is no malware or virus, and it depends what the program will do (the settings, which you can change).
If you are still doubtfull, just copy the name of the file that your program has blocked, and paste it into Google.
You´ll find lots of stuff on whether it´s safe or not.

i've had UB 4 a long time and never had any problem, so it's not like my AVG doesn't know it. i've heard from a couple other ppl, w/ different anti-virus programs, that they had the same problem w/ it 2day. i'm sure whatever the problem is, it'll be worked out soon. i'm just gonna wait a while b4 i download it again. btw, malwarebytes detected 78 infections! thanks 4 recommending it!

There was some kind of flaw in there last update apparently. They said it has something to do with them trying to detect poker bots. Here's more info - Security Happening - UB Blog (http://blog.ub.com/2010/02/security-happening/) ***************
