Attempted to play this RAZZ for the first time after observing and wow! This is a slow paced boring game. Unless I hear different from some of you players I don't think it's to hard to attempt making the lowest hand possible. Does anyone play here?

I love playing razz! Pokerstars and FullTilt are some of the few places where you can play this, and very cheap to very high (I have seen Pokerstars pros there from time to time). If you find it slow you can multitable them, or something I like to do as a brain exercise is mix it in with a game of 7stud and/or NLHE/Omaha. After 40 you have to work the brains cells so that you don't lose them!

I love Razz, maybe it's even my favorite game. I'm not saying that i'm a very good player or anything, but sooooo many people play it so freakin bad, that there's lot's of easy money in it, imo. Good luck, and try it again, there's much more than meets the eye in the first place!

I really like razz, makes your brain have to work kinda differently :]] Lots of potential to make soft money playing against people who dont know how to play. generally if you hit 2 or 3 good cards on the bounce regardless of your back cards you can push people around. Just have some fun with the games, itll only make you love NLHE more
Try triple draw too, lurrrrrve that.

I would like to try it at PokerStars, but I think it is unprofitable if u are new and do not know witch card are good ( i mean pre flop better to play)

Thanks for feedback! I guess since I've never played until last night I need to give it a chance ay! Everyone's definitely right about the "make you think differently" comments. And mahdrof, as for three tables or the other stuff, I guess I have played RAZZ in HORSE, but usually loaf out until it passes through. Same with Omaha H/L. Just need more practice I suppose. Remember I'm a real rookie, 4 months at poker, but love trying.

Awesome Green, I like HORSE too! RAZZ is a simple game, ideally you have three low cards, and if you have Ace showing you can raise, bluff some people out, hopefully catch a few low cards and keep pushing to cause people to fold. You can practise these different poker games for pennies at PokerStars, which is something I like there - lots of variety and for cheap, unless you choose to play in Daniel's Room!

Razz ? Oh god.... i sometimes play HORSE, only for fun of course... and sometimes i am quite confused and play the wrong rules at the wrong game... thats really weird, when the weakest hand is the one to win and you show quads and thought you are going to take it down.

Has anyone noticed if some of these other forms of poker are more profitable just due to their lack of exposure. I could see lots of inexperienced trying these games "just for fun".
