i've been checking out new rooms to play the past couple of days...this one room got a $500 freeroll twice a day...and i must say even if it's a freeroll, the play there is somewhat serious.well,i've played there just thrice so far.i can't believe there wasn't all in pushes early on.unlike those freerolls at tilt.. i'm pretty impressed with the way they play their freeroll there. even when their holding AK,AQ etc.. to big pockets. there wasn't a lot of those crazy 3-4 way all ins. even after a couple of levels, you wont see someone having a 20-30k chip stack.lol
sorry i didn't mention the site.i don't see their name on BRM

I'd rather play a freeroll full of donks than full of good players..
IMHO the best way of determining whether a freeroll is worth playing has nothing to do with the prize pool or the average skill of the runners..
It's simply by working out the value of the free entry.. if this value is close to the buyins your bankroll allows, or say at least 1/3 of what you'd normally buyin for, then it's good value for your time..
Simply divide the total prizepool by the amount of runners and there's your answer.. so a $5000 prize pool with 10,000 runners for example means your entry is only worth 50c == not worth playing.

for me, this freeroll is worth it..i play these freerolls just to practice.nothing more.so if i find a good one, i'll play it..plus $120 first place is not so bad for 3 hours of play....made final table on my first try
