Probably shouldn't reply at all since PartyPoker doesn't exist for U.S. citizens. Wish they did! Would like to try their site! Good Luck from someone who can explain.

because you need a real money account in order to receive the money - in case you win the tournament/get in the money.. sounds logical eh? about the deposit money...just click it away?

If u remember correctly, party Poker requires a REAL money account (deposit or No Deposit bonus), as long as there is money in the account) for anyone to play, even on the play monet tables. It´s been a while, but I think it was that way when I started last year as well. Good Luck!
