Again, yet another session down the drain with this sick sick hand. Basically flop comes 2 8 9 - my opponent goes all in. I hold 88 and call. He shows 99 and wins.

yeah i see that happen a lot fodz , what else can you do but call though your hardly gonna fold a set ... well i wouldnt. Its just bad luck he had 99. Hope the luck changes soon
i had same flop 89 x, rag 9, i held pocket 8's he held pocket 9's, so my full house 8's full of nines got dominated by his quads, this was omaha so i half expected it, but it still sucks

i had pocket aces the flop drops jack jack jack i get called all in obviously i call tihnking he got smaller pair only to find he has the 4th jack im gutted

Today I had 77, I raise from SB to chip leader in big blind who is a call station. I have 3000 chips. I raise to 350, blinds were 50/100. He calls, headsup between the blinds. Flop comes 7,8,10 rainbow. I check cause he always bets. He bets 300, I raise to 800. He calls, turn comes 9, I check he goes all in, I fold lol I ended winning that sit and go tough..maybe should have reraised more on flop.

hhaha fodz jus the other day... i lost alot on that... i had 88 flop comes 2 6 8... i hit trip 8s... go all in the guy calls... hits runner runner to finish a straight... i was soo sick to my stomach.... but after that playin i got some of it back.. then had k 4 flop comes like 5 7 k... and theres me and 2 other players.. it checks all the way around... turn comes some rag i uno say 2... then i min bet.. one guy folds... then the other guy raises me 6x i go all in instantly... he takes about half the time on his time bank and calls... i show K 4 he shows K 9... so im super pissed
river comes a 4 lol i doubled up.. made all my money (From the trip 8s back.. plus some lol) so i was happy lol

i have one, i m holding K 10, flop comes 10, 9, K, then K, so i go all in and the river is 2 or something... my opponent was holding K 9..... it was good times

Thats similar to a hand on poker after dark where The Professor (Howard Lederer) has kings full over queens and Tuan Le has kings full over nines but Tuan Le doesn't go all in and just calls.

actually i think ive seen that episode not to long ago really... it was a smart move that he called (cuz really who isnt gonna at least call in that situation) but it coulda been alot worse like in fr0zen89's case

hahahah yea dannyjon those pocket anythings can be very very sneaky if played the right way and if a set pop ups on the flop or even turn.... not to meantion the river if the other person had teh nuts till then, and you and the other guy played it right..

yea i dont think you can ever really lay down the 2nd best hand... lol only way if you playing live and you caught a sneak peak at your players hand and say he had the 1 card that can beat you lol

i had quads v quads i had 44 on big blind 2 b4 button raises 3x blind i call flop is 74 10 rainbow so i check raise he reraises so i just call to slowplay turn comes a 10 i check he bets i raise all in he insta-calls river 4 i show 44 for quad 4s he shows 10 10 for quad 10s it was a tournament so it only cost me a few dollars

that wow mate that has to hurt lol.. specially with quad anythings and you lose to a higher pocket pair quads lol it rips the heart right out from inside you lol and your jus left there speechless

yea thats just about it theres no way you could fold that POSSIBLY not go all in but if your called all in i dont really see how you can get away from it.. unless your crazy lol it happens

That's why having such nice hands the you can't fold are probably more dangerous than those two pairs. even if you wanted to fold but with such good hands, you tend to go all-in

yea thats usually what happend to me but i mostly learned from it.. hands like K 9 or other mediocre hands i tend to stay away from pre flop because those are the ones that tend to put you in tough spots where you can get hit pretty hard... so tis a gut cal for me.. altho K9 is my hand and ill usually always play it
I ended winning that sit and go tough..maybe should have reraised more on flop.
