I wanted to win the damn thing and I did it! This was loads of fun for sure. Happy happy...
Haven´t seen AA for a while now, but I got them twice around the first hour of play. Was building up nicely and then...boom! Was able to capitalise on them, raise and trap, and eventually trippled up.
Was in 1st most of the Tourney, until I started chatting too much on the "MobsterMania" Sunday game, and the blinds started going up. The aggro factor was also increasing at the tables, so mistakes were costly. Went into the final table about the same time I was Heads-Up with Maggath at the Mobster game, and that was a bit too much for me. Maggath played a very agressive endgame at the final table, and kudos to him for that. Had to give up that one to concentrate on the BRM Tourney because we were down to 5 and I was 4th.
A very nice guy Durr1212 at the table as well. He reads our posts.
Had a great save with a Push being behind in 4th, and then it was Aggro all the way until heads-up.
Went into Heads-Up way down, about 120.000 to 480.000, with blinds around 30.000/60.000. Played a very aggresive Heads-Up to catch up, and after about 1/2 of great HU, I finally pulled it in!
Tomorrow morning I´m moving to my new place in the south of Tenerife, and this was a great way to say "adieu" to my present home.

Congratulations Jack, very nice win You now have the removal costs covered. Good to hear that your aggro play-style paid off and now grinding trough those freerolls all month was really worth it

Well, ok.... I´ll start bragging right now.
I didn´t even have to grind those freerolls all month. Came in 3rd in the first one I played for $7, and then started 4-5 more during the month, one of which I collected another $3 for the Leaderboard.

wow, phenomenal. Fantastic Job and some nice little bucks for you. So that at least is some proof for those generally saying (just like me more or less) that those BRM freerolls doesnt really help as you just play for change.

Posted by B1gfoot: Very nice win. Out off all the freeroll this is the onw with the real value. Now were are we all meeting for the house warming?
At my place in Tenerife next weekend!
Or... at the Mobster Mania game on FT next Sunday. Really a lot of fun. Grab a beer, a bottle of Jack, or whatever your particular poision is, and come and join. Chatting nonsense is primary, playing Poker secondary.

I even extended a challenge in the thread on Mob Mania 3. Really. "Double your winnings"!
Look it up.
