yep indeed this was to bad that it did not happend on a bad beat table , it was sit&go and managed to double up , so i am happy with the result . but honestly i was feeling really sorry for this guy as i believe that this was the last thing that he expected

bad beat? No! A bad beat is when someone is really ahead and still loosing it and not if he is behind right from the beginning. The hand is 50-50 Preflop and 100-0 Post flop and so there is no bad beat but an unlucky river that makes him pay.

I have to agree with this. It was an extremely sick hand, but tecnically it would not be a bad beat. This is what I would call a cooler. A huge one.

I would not consider it a bad beat, but I would be very quiet about it.
If you suffer a bad beat, you should at some point have by far the best hand.

this will be my last reply 2 you in this matter . the point is that if you sit at a cash game bad beat jackpot table this hand will be consireded as a bad beat and the jackpot will be paid out ! so you can keep on acting like a pro and playing the freerolls and not even having the funds to play in a tour that you host , i will keep on doing my thing and behaving and playing and acting and posting like a kid with money on my account to play real poker .

If i take a Bad Beat by definition, no it isn´t. Of course it is quite a huge cooler. And you will win with Quads at the river about 99 times in 100. But a bad beat means, that you were at least about 80% in front at any time against the hand your opponent has and not 99 times ahead against the possible hands your opponent might had.
And in this case my opponent had QJ and outflopped me. So if those Jackpots say you get money whenever you loose with quads, than this is okay, because it is quite unusual. But it´s not always a bad beat though.
Same strating hand and you change a ten or a nine from the flop with the 8 on the river and it is a sick bad beat. so it is a sick cooler. Even though it doesnt feel better though

dont think its a bad beat though it wud qualify for a badbeat jackpot for sure. its a cold deck , nothing guy with 88 cud have done post flop. but he must be really shocked and pissed after seeing wht u had and probably creating a "rigtard" thread somewhere
