Full-tilt IS SO RIGGED!..  +4
Omg, fulltilt is so rigged. I mean i've been playing here for 2 weeks, and cashed on two freerolls and one 10c 1k gtd rebuy, and now i'm at the tables doubling up. This place has got to be rigged in my favor. Just got to be. Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar

Huffinator,

Thanks for the advice. I will be sure to chill when ever a downswing starts. Don't be confused though. I'm not doing great...I've lost a lot of tourneys and a lot of cash, but i'm not complaining. I'm just learning from my mistakes, and using what i learned to improve my game. In the words of JFK "a mistake is not a mistake...untill we refuse to correct it."

I've learned alot from you guys, and from full tilts poker academy. I'm sure I have alot more to learn. Look foward to a long poker future.
Thumbs Up

Funny thread Smile
On what poker site you've played before playing on Full Tilt Poker? It would be interesting to see a comparation between Full Tilt Poker and the platform you played before.
I personally observed after starting playing at FTP that you get a mot more "playable" cards compared to other poker sites, but i also noticed you get a bit more bad beats compared to other sites. I may be subjective but this is what i observed.
Good luck at the tables and hope the solve your current problem with FTP.

As someone who played FTP for a while, you have about 2 1/2 to maybe 3 weeks of the good fortunes. Check in their forum and you will find that others have posted about the new account good fortunes and how they would give their weight in gold for a new account. Build your stack and get smart when it dies off. Believe me you will know when it does. 1 last thing after reality becomes normality, beware the non-Americans when life on line. I got bounced by other country players close to 90% of the time there.

When I first seen the thread you had me stressing again about FT! lol I'm new to poker for the biggest part and electronic is definitely new to me (5 months) and now I see your very happy. That's great! Sometimes I don't know what to think when some people post threads and there dead serious that it's all rigged. Really I don't have high expectations for myself in the poker world other then I now love to play and I play for fun. If I knew it was rigged I'd still play for fun. Win a little $$ lose a little$$, but glad your doing so well. Hope the trend continues! Good Luck to All!

I've read a lot of threads saying that the full tilt software deal very "playable" cards in order for players to get in the game, which means more rake dollars for them.
I've never experienced major upswings followed by major downswings on full tilt but again i'm more of a tight player and i only play good hands aggressivly.
However one thing is sure: Full Tilt Poker has a lot of good players and many regulars at almost every limits.
I also observed that players from specific countries have different style of play, so this could be a reason for the fact that some people always seem to lose against players from specific countries.
Good luck at the tables everyone!

It´s an everlasting discussion and this is my one and only contribution to it. I agree with the statement that new players have a higher winning percentage. For sure, they would like to see them deposit. I wonder if I wouldn´t handle it like this, too... Big Smile
I realized that on my own. When I was new to FTP I knocked down thousands of competitors in the Freerolls and got one FT after each other. I felt like King of the Hill when winning the "icecream-money" (I LIKE ICECREAM!). For sure I got eaten in a hurry after that by other kings and I paid the icecream out of my own pocket Blink Everytime I won a little stake in cash from a freeroll my "luck" turned off and I lost all of it before I could spell sh... I REALIZED THAT IT REALLY IS RIGGED there. Not for everybody. It´s the software engine. It generates action on the table. It decides by several creteria to give a specific winning percentage to an individual player. That most of the Pro´s saying it is not rigged - how should they know about? Maybe for highstakes poker it isn´t rigged this way because the rakes are high enough. One day I sat there and lost and lost while playing my A-Game, gettin one wonderhand after each other - means, I really tried to be the best skilled loser ever lived on earth. And I was, because I took it for fun as it just was housemoney I lost. With that good mood I turned into tilt mode and played any two I got, raising like hell utg out of position, pushing any hand. So what? I WON TWO TICKETS JUST BY PLAYING CR_P ! Ha. Don´t believe that works for everyone forever. No. Just for the preferred blessed species there, as known as donks.
I´m still playing the Freerolls there, because nevertheless I like this site. But I never deposited my own money to them and probably never will be, if they are not willing to make me the next MEC Champ! Evil

I always thought freerolls are a special breed of poker. There isn't really a strategy to follow and i think you must have tons of luck to get a good paid place.
Many said that the rules of SNG strategy applies to freerolls too, but i bet you'll be out pretty quick if you follow them. One thing is sure, you got to play a lot more hands to finish in money.
However in your post above there is a mistake. The rake on high stakes cash games is less than on low stakes. On high stakes the max rake is 0.50, on low stakes tables 0.50/1 it can get up to 3$.
Good luck at the tables!

A poker site NOT engineering their games so as to maximize playablity, thus maximizing rake, is a poker site NOT interested in profits.

The house always wins, but who cares Full Tilt is still the sh*t.

Yes, who cares. Yesterday I was involved in a tourney there:
After folding 10 to 20 times the montana banana cards dealt to me, suddenly I got AK. Offsuit, but ok for a rainbow flop, as it shows a quite nice blinking ace. The other guy has position on me and pushes for value. I call. Nothing special on the turn, but my opponent pushing again. I call. The river shows a 5. No special draws to expect - he pushes, I call and lose to his f... A5.
Next round: I get pocket rockets ... man in the moon, this is going to be a roll! Because I know the whole table is a bunch of "any tow card"-donks I put the spare of my stack to the middle, hoping to win at least one single hand. I get only one caller, fine so far - he shows up pocket kings - and hits the set on the river! What else.
Thats what you can expect on FT on the long run if chosen not to win. For somewhat reasons ever.

I think you mis understand the term "pushes". Also - you played this hand like an idiot and deserved to lose.

UL with the aces, but it happens. You're not guaranteed to win.

FT isn't rigged. You're just dumb.

Haha, please stop thinking. You don´t need it there. I know what I´m talking off. But I did not want to hold anyone back. Best off luck to everyone.
