I know this is old but I have never lost so many hands on the river as I do at FT. It happens in FR's, money tables, and yeah yeah it's poker I know the deal. I play at many sites and FT burns me more on the river then anywhere. I have my history and I could show at least 40 hands like this. I made a great call here and this sucks. To me these FR's give you a chance to win money plus more money on LB so because you don't pay to play is no reason to play like a idiot. This is how I know there are many dorks playing in these FR's that don't belong to BRM.

yeah ,,i can see it ,geshhh,,i hate river too,,river always ruined my good card on hand,,,happend it to me many times,thats why i said i hate river ,,i was even had thread here saying that i hated river lol
always had great position at flop and in turn but in the end pppffffttt the river so freaking bad, even now, i played E200 freeroll at pokertime ,5940players and now was had 159left,,and i was in the 15thplacer and had 64k chips on hand,,i was had AK,other players was had K7,,,so now the turn was K and then the river was 7,,,so otehr player won me was done,coz i went all -in after the turn,,so my 64k chips gone,,,and now im done,i was really pissed of the river

Post the HH if you like, you shold be taking that down either pre-flop or on the flop, so IMO there is something going wrong, possable he is a nit, but it seams like 24o was in a pot???? and took a shoot at the river????? Got to be a flaw in this hand. Lets see if we can stop some of them nasty rivers.

it was done,,pokertime is not same in fulltilt that u can view the last hand, ,but in pokertime what u can only view as last hand was only the ***word/message*** no cards view,,,,so hassle coz u cant copy and paste,,,i need to do type it here hahaha,,grrrrr,if it was fulltilt easy to go back and look the last hand ,can see it very live lol but pokertime u cant grrrrrrr

When I'm dealt slick I usually call and if I hit like this I'll go all in with the 2 pair to try and push.You mention 2-4 sure he took shot at river. But on the flop I had the best hand no one knew if I had trip A's, or even a J-10. So I made the right call 2-4 was chasing and if I had 9's on that hand I would of folded so the entire hand was a chase. When I play poker I play what I'm holding not what I'm hoping for. I had pot odds and outs in my favor and still lose. And second I played the money tables here also and they do the same damn thing there this being one example. I lost a flush off the nut with a $5 raise and got a call, the turn was nothing raised $5 more got called so he is all in now and the sucker turns cards over catching a boat on river so wtf. The whole time I'm thinking he keeps calling and this is my hand so no need to tell you how I felt when I saw his cards and he chased a boat calling the whole hand with nothing until the river.

hm really ugly but thats poker AK or AA dont garuante 100% win of the hand and for me 99 is always lucky but i lost a lot of hands on the river you are not alone and the other guy involved in the hand with 24 what he is playing lotto? thats freeroll ,good luck on tabels guys and girls

I played this hand right and I know my game is on even if I lost. Being I was the lowest stacked they decided to chase my all in after flop. I guarantee you if I was sitting there with a 13,000 stack they would of both folded. I bet anything on that. For those 2 knuckleheads to call I could of had trips of any thing on that flop or better yet a J-10 so trip 9's won that hand but really that was a bad play and luck saved him or her.

i dont play much on fulltilt but i have seen there are too many bad calls there, that river runs pretty nasty there. people are shy to fold their bottom pair, mid pairs regardless of stacks/pot/raises. so there are bound to be badbeats . and donks are everywhere, u cant avoid them

Sorry about the double post for the hand but I posted it came back to check it and it was gone strange. So I just reposted it and damn out of nowhere my first HH comes back wtf. Really I ain't crazy a little wild but not crazy. I had the better odds and outs and still lost but the way I played that hand was right. Like I said I play what I got and trip 9's got lucky but really that wasn't a smart play with that flop. It won that hand but in the long run playing like that you will lose down the road.

Full Tilt Poker is well known for the bad beats you get on river. Of course this happend to me couple of times but after some bad experiences like that i changed my game style. If i have a good hand i usually go all-in on the turn but again it's important on what game type are you playing. On freerolls people are tempted to pay you with a small pair like in your case but on cash games the A and Q from the flop would be the ultimate scare cards. Of course you can find exceptions but usually on a cash table, on that flop that guy with pocket 9s would fold if you continued to bet. Good luck at the tables!
