Hi everybody!
I'm trying to decide what currency I should keep most of my balance in as not all sites accept Canadian Dollars.
So naturally I'm torn between US Dollars and Euros. Thing is I'm expecting the US Dollar to drop in value more and with all the fuss on americans I'm worried sites may stop accepting USD in the future.
Plus the Euro is more stable I suspect. So do you tink it would be a good idea to just convert the $150 USD I have into Euros so that all my future play can be in Euros?

At the moment i would not convert money in a halfway stable currency into junk like the US dollar or the Euro. Both are going down quite heavily today.

hm my tipp is mixed is better but put not so much trust in euro the dollar is the reference and dont worry for the moment drop of dollar dont forgett china has trilions dollars as reservs they dont like that they just want that at the moment because of the barril price and the production stop in libia (8 state in the world in oil extraction) so cheap dollar cheap fuell not so big presure on economy so if you thing in long term dont trust the euro and if you want to speculate on currency a poker site is the wrong place try better the markets The post respons above should be not taken as to do so its just an opinion.

Giomi6 i dont understande you respons now like the USD is weak at this moment so that means he will go up in time so for me and the most of the speculaters on currency is buy cheap sell high so if you buy euro now and the dollars goes up afters how is the looser?

if i were you i would go with the euro because more and more countrys are going with it because the USdollar is so weak and it will stay weak for the next 20 years or more because the people in the usa are to dumb to know how to fix thing ...the usa will go borke and not recovezr

Thanks guys, lot's of info here. My biggest concern is that I've heard the US will be needing to print a large sum to pay back it's debts in a few months and so will likely drop.
I'll probably go Euro with one ewallet and CAD with another I'll just use Euros if a site won't accept CAD. Also thanks for the tip US -> Euro is doing good today.

It is not do bad for USA to have USD low: it is a big advantage for exportation and a a brake for importation.

I think Euro's is the best way to go, not because i'm European, but since the start of the Euro it has been stronger, more stable and had way less fluctuations in value than the US dollar. Also the longterm predictions for the Euro are much better than for the dollar. Gl either way
id keep with the loonie if i were you in the end its just gonna cost you more to transfer funds but your gonna do what you want. I just suggest you open the news paper to the bussniess section for a week. Watch the values canadian dollar hasn't been higher in a long time and it isnt going down any time soon only reason are dollar isn't soaring over the US is because there to stupid to realize are economy is better then theres so they wont buy are lumber and other such resources putting the bank of canada to increase inflation to make it closer to par with them.

Imagine that. Not my suggestion. Go with the USD because you get more for your money. Ours is worth more than USD and will continue to rise. When you invest in Euro's you lose money, because it's worth more than the CND. Most sites will always be in USD because it is the most used currency.

So are you tryin to say if you had a choice to play with USD or CND at poker sites, u'll prefer having your account in USD?
