this is an article from the miami herald in florida, usa......read full article if you live in florida, we might get an online poker site regulated by the state and it would be strictly for residents of florida....

Washington D.C. already has a district regulated online pokersite for residents and visitors, hypocrites!!!! lol...New jersey is looking to do the same thing that florida is looking to do.....obviously, the pool of players would be mch smaller than those of FTP and stars, but hey, it would be a start.......it is nice to hear that our $$ isn't frozen on those 2 sites!!!!

awesome ? Wouldn´t it end up just lik in France? Seperated players with high Rake only for the own government?

And tell me what the hell is the sense in that?
I mean gambling is forbidden for what reason? Scarness of beeing addicted and loose lot of money?
And this is no argument if the state control it as they got profit out of it?

True that Hajinnho, I never really thought it through seeing as it doesn't really pertain to me. But you certainly raise a good point. The government in thier greed is only exasperating the very issues they claim to frown upon.

I believe that in the future that the big online pokersites will be regulated by the US goverment and that players from the US can play online.
