PREPAID Visas!  0
The other day I went out and bought a $50 prepaid Visa... I go to partypoker to load my funds and find that VIsa doesnt allow gambling restrictions.....I can understrand this restriction for ACTUAL Credit Visas, not PREPAID visas. This is MY money I uploaded to the card, NOT the banks money...I should be able to spend it on anything I like.... Fuckin horseshit if you ask me

Maybe your issue is country related?
cause here we dont have any problems either the card is prepaid or not.both can be used in poker sites
Although some prepaids are only for deposit or buys, cant be used to upload funds besides the bank

I'm not very surprised actually, even if you have a prepaid visa some banks have a internal policy of not allowing people to use their Visa cards to upload funds on online poker sites or gambling sites. The most knows bank of this type in europe is a large bank from france.
You should have asked before making the visa card if you can use it to upload funds on poker/gambling sites. Thats the reason why i don't upload or withdraw funds anymore with my visa card, i only use my moneybookers account. I also think it's a lot more safer than the visa card for that matter since your name will not appear on any bank statements, which is great. Now i'm sure you can upload funds with your current visa card on moneybookers. From there you can upload them on party poker.

Paypal doesnt accept Credit Cards and Moneybookers asks you before you deposit the money into your MB account if it is going to be used to casino purchases.... so i think im fucked. I have used the MasterCards before too , no problems.... My friend picked up the visa without knowing....

I know from experience that you even check on your moneybookers account that if you'll use the money to deposit on poker or gambling sites you can still upload money with your visa card that is normally blocked to use on poker/gambling sites.
For example i couldn't upload funds on pokerstars and full tilt poker using this visa prepaid card but i was able to upload them on my moneybookers account. The bad part is that it takes a 1.9% when you're uploading funds with a card. If you choose the upload funds directly from your bank account the transfer is absolutely free and it takes just three working days. The only advantage of the card is that the funds are transfered automatically.
Of course you can also upload funds with your mastercard but you can't withdraw money with your mastercard, so we are back to where we started.

I have a Moneybookers account for three years now, I have no problem uploading funds to my MB account via direct bank transfer, but Moneybookers does not allow me to use my Mastercard for uploading funds to my MB account, so I can only upload with bank transfer. I have no problems with Moneybookers concerning depositing or withdrawing from pokersites. Smile

Thats weird, a friend only used to upload funds on his moneybookers account with a mastercard. But i think there are different regulations from country to country. So are the fees that moneybookers take for their transactions. The differences are not huge considering the currency differences betwwen us dollars and euros. On the other hand using a moneybookers account for making transactions on sites like poker or gambling gives another huge advantage, no matter in which country you are located. Your personal name doesn't apper on any real bank ballance, thats one of the main reason so many use them although you need to pay a small fee for every withfraw you make.
Just for a comparison, the money are transferred to my bank account in just two days from my moneybookers account Smile

Same thing goes for FT! I tried this at both sites before the U.S. gov banned us U.S. citizens from playing. Don't understand why neither site accepts pre-paid Visa's, but that's the same thing I experienced. Couldn't use it!
I actually opened a savings account in which I only keep about $300.00 in and started using the routing number from this when I wanted to deposit. Planning to do the same with withdrawals if I get the chance.

There's the deal. Go out and have yourself a nice dinner with that card. Then you may do as I did...get yourself a reloadable credit card, load it and deposit anywhere you want. A "gift" card is not a "credit" card.

most banks will not allow transactions these days(regardless of country) as soon they figure out the other party is in "internet gambling"....it is crap, read about this somewhere. Now everyone mostly uses an e-wallet, moneybookers, paypal, neteller, etc
