the First Deposit Bonus at Carbon Poker ? I am thinking of signing up there, because of the rakeback deal. But then I read the conditions on BRMRakeback and it says:
"Players taking advantage of the special 200% up to $2,000 sign-up bonus will need to earn 125 VIP Points for each $1 in bonus money. Do not enter the bonus code while registering. The code must be entered when depositing. Bonuses are released in $10 increments and expire after 90 days or once a withdrawal is made."
Below that the VIP program is explained and there you can find that 250 VIP points are equal to $38,46 in rake.
Bringing this together it reads that I have to generate $19,23 rake to clear $1 of the FDB !!! Imo I think this is very much. Compared to PartyPoker: There I have to generate $3 rake to clear $1 of my FDB.
So my questions to you mobsters is: Did anyone cleared this bonus ? Is it really that much rake to generate ?

Afaik you get 7.5VIPs per $1 rake,so you have to rake $16.67 per $ of the 1st deposit bonus. However,there are better sites to sign up. Merge network became one of the toughest sites recently with all the americans having moved there.
If you really wanna wanna play there though,it'll be because of the rakeback,not the 1st deposit bonus obviously (since it gives you only about 6% rakeback while you clear it).
All the rooms at the Merge network will, after what I've heard, stop giving new players rakeback after June 1st. If you what the possibility to get 35% rakeback, you should sign up today, and get rakeback as long as you play at Merge.

No, i do not have an account on the merge network so i don't have an account on carbon poker for that matter. Still i know the rules of the majority of poker platforms and i can tell you that what was posted above is true, in comparison to other poker platforms like full tilt poker for example on the merge poker network, so on carbon poker you get 7,5 VIP for 1 dollar of rake produced and of course if you do the math you'll find out how fast you can actually release the first deposit pokerbonus. I also need to agree that are other better offers out there but still you need to take advantage of this offer till 1st june, after this date the merge network poker sites will no longer offer rakeback to their players. This is a great opportunity to have the advantage to play against united states players but i'm sure you'll also be able to play them on the other big sites like full tilt or pokerstars shortly.

Okay, thanks mobsters for all your input. So maybe I will sign up there during May, just to secure the rakeback deal. Maybe I don´t cash in then, but first just play some freerolls. Thanks for your help.

for most of the sites offering rakeback deposit bonuses require lots of rake to be generated or else it'll be pretty bad deal for poker site. and most of them deduct bonuses from rakeback so it decreases their value further. but anyways gl with ur deposit at carbon
