well ive been playing at poker stars for awhile now doing really well at omaha high/low, i muti table and this one player who is nearly on every table i play on its really good, so i check his stats and found somethink out and here my question, (checked his hand history)
do pokerstars reward other players for proving that other player are chip dumping in cash games,
because i have found a player who has done it, and wanna earn some extra cash this player has chip dumped over $350 to another player and its so obvious, he went on to a table heads up with $60 and raise $52 the other player raise all in $72 and then the player folded WFT, they have done this 4 times on the trot, putting in 95% of there money in the pot then folding pre flop,
what you guy think?? if not i still should report him?? cheers dozn01

You are mena mate, but i guess you did the right thing actually. I really can't understand why players are still using chip dumping when they have a legal way to do it, which is money transfer between poker accounts
If you think this is weird i actually saw two guys that did the same on play money back on full tilt poker, back in the days in which i played omahahi on play money in order to understand the game
Still, this case was pretty obvious but there are cases in which some players try to do a sick bluff and continue to raise every street ad on the river the opponent shove it all in and they fold, but this wasn't the case of course in the example you posted

Yes report it for sure I had something similar when I had 99. small stack raised 20 p blinds by about 2 quid so big raise but he has 6 pound or there abouts. guy to my right re raised now I have difficult choice as i was only in for 20 p i fold. Now the thing is small stack goes all in and the guy who re raised with full stack folds.
I was furious its either really dumb or something strange is going on i did report it but I have not heard a thing yet Tox

Go ahead and report it, not that you gonna get anything from it though. I have reported in the past couple of players for collusion in iPoker before but they did nothing. they were still playing sng's after a couple of days, same tables but with no chat this time
sent the info to pokerstars and got this reply from them
Thank you for contacting PokerStars. We have forwarded your email to a Poker Specialist for their review and action. Also, I have sent your suggestion to our Poker Room Management Team for their review. We really appreciate the time you have taken to suggest improvements to PokerStars. Many of the improvements we have developed come from suggestions received from our players. Please let us know if you have any other ideas or questions, and thanks for playing at PokerStars! Occasionally I see chip-dumping @ PKR - I never report it though, because PKR has no P2P transfer, so I can understand why people do it. Personally - I would NEVER risk my account to do this, if you really want to give somebody money and the room doesn't allow it, then just wire it to them. But yeah, I wouldn't report people - seems a bit cruel on PKR.
However - stars *does* have P2P transfers- so it is a lot more suss when people dump (more likely to involve stolen funds etc).

LOL PS will just stiff you. Did you speak to them? If it bothers you so much did you try and find out why they do it before having their accounts frozen and all money confiscated.(possibly just friends, or settling a bet) Was it collusion? Let them launder money, PS was doing it long enough All that will happen is they will (if actually laundering) move to another site, all you did was gave PS the money they had and you get nadda. All over $350, some serious money that, but good on you crime fighter, all from the goodness of your heart and moral stance..oh no wait you was after a reward...PMSL.

did you know on pokerstars you can transfer money to another player?? so there no need to do this on a table?? so obvious something was wrong when there was doing this, could of been a account there have hacked etc, and yes it was collusion, buit i was only wondering if there was a reward, i still reported it, cause its not wanted in the game,, but a reward would of been a bonus, i know of other sites which give rewards out for information , and was only asking about pokerstars did it, at times you can be a douchebag bigfoot
They don't reward you as such, but if it can be proven as chip dumping then theres a strong chance that they would refund you any money you had lost to those players.
I opened up PS to find I had an extra $140 in my account and apparantly someone I'd played alot of HU SNGs against was part of a cheating syndicate and they stripped them all of the money and refunded it to players who had lost to them..
