well after around 3 week back playing at stars ive had my first losing day, yes thats correct i havnt had alosing session or day till today, and heres the damage am down only $20, it not even a buyin not touched my bankroll, am not complaining but the good run had to come to a end soon didnt it!!, like they say you can not win every session, well i did my god damm hardest to win em all but a good thing came out of this is that i cleared another $10 bonus from the VIP Stellar Rewards, so really am down today just $10
i had a really good day yesterday won over $300 in cash games and mtt,, i really like stars now and got the bankroll to prove it, it just gets better and better for me thinking like am,and playing like i am doing, im really enjoying my poker at the mo, and want to climb the ladder high as possible but its gonna be slow grinding up there, by doing it right this time after 10 years am finaly getting the bankroll management right and this is the key to be a winning player,also a bit of skill is needed thou, i love the VIP Stellar Rewards and my points are getting bigger everyday with my roll, i wish you good luck at the tables and see you soon for more posts mobster

hey man that not so bad at least you only lost 10bucks,i got a flogging yesterday lost 14%of my bankroll,was tilting of my nut,and nearly broke my computer screen.so let it all out on call of duty black ops.

If you keep it that way, stars will quickly become your golden egg chicken, dozn01! Work and study and pratice of poker is just giving you the reward of 10 year atempts. So, although i play for more time with friends for real, i only do it online few years ago. I still have to wait a bit to get to 10 years of online poker, but i am already managing a bankroll (in micro terms) at this time, just hope that in a couple of years a can be doing it with a bit higher amounts!

Lol, yes it's a loss but compared to the limits you are playing it must be peanuts, i mean you said it already that less than one buy in so the loss is absolutely minimal
That being said i remember you play pot limit omaha 8 or better on pokerstars but on what limit?? 0.35/0.50 cents?? You play in bankroll??
Anyway good luck mate since i know you rock the tables so don't be affected by such a small loss You'll win even more in the next session

Congrats! keep playing in that way! it's true, even if you are the best you'll lose cos it's impossible to win always (and also that would be bored, to win always, good for your pockets but boring). Good luck!!

You're right, but self control is definetly the key to a good bankroll management! Its also very easy to try to double up your bankroll cash game... but higher stakes generally means much better opponents, so yeah bankroll management is the key!

That's awesome news Dozn01! A three week streak is a pretty amazing stretch I'd say. Personally, I'm lucky if I get a 4 day winning streak, but my game has a long way to go. Lots of leaks to plug. Glad you're sharing this, it's inspiring to know that with the right discipline we can succeed. Do you mind me asking what your bank roll is at approximately? So I have an idea of how long the road is ahead.

You are doing really well. The vip stellar system is okay at stars but i recommend you to get rakeback and some bonuses. Last year my friend played a break even month in nl100 but got from bonuses over 8000dollars
