After all those HU (over 2k) that I played on Stars I noticed few things: Small pair lost unreal amount of time against two overs. Cant say right how much but Im sure its over 65% and I ALWAYS have trouble to finish of my opponent. If he is under 500 chips I just cant hit anything and I just cant win all in. I must lose at least one before winning. I had some serious tilting came backs of my opponents where they have 100-200 chips but this is just ridiculous! Guy won 6 all ins IN ROW and 3 more later after some play. That means 9 straight up!!! I couldnt believe my eyes! A9 lost against 89, A8 against K3, 77 against 33... He won it and take a look how much chips did he had before that s**t!

Sounding tilted there jovica. You were up late the night before unable to sleep, I sucked out on you at a small PLO game, and now you are playing tired - for me personally this is the worst combination. When I feel like that I tilt very easily, so take some time to rest and bring back your "A" game.
I play a lot of turbo 6 person SNG, and one time down to the final two and outchipped something like 10 to 1, I won something like 6 straight all ins. Stuff happens but personally I think I am through with PS, terribly unlucky there.
This s**t just happens. There are tons of hands dealt every minute at stars, so probably you lost 77 vs. 33, but 10 other guys won. 33 still has SOME eqquity and sometime it will win.

yep can be hard going on stars .... i keep getting in ahead and loosing ... so frustrating .... and bad players just keep hitting .... check out this lad playing any two going up and down like a yo yo then i catch him and take all his chips bar enough for antes and 1 chip to play ... and im sitting in BB with K,K to finish him off .... hmmmmmm .... but he wins and continues and i get knocked out and continue watching him donk his way on and on had to screen capture when he got to chip lead and then watch to see where he finished .... and finally he looses heads up and takes 2nd ..... so skill is needed in poker but i think being lucky really helps on stars lol

Very unlucky m8. there's always the freaking luck factor involved no matter how well u play, and if ur playing tired everything just starts to have a totally new dimension. im the usual tilter so i know the feeling pretty well, fortunately, im managing to just stop taking notes when things start to go sour and therefore not tilting so hard when im on the F*** this S*** mode lol. he got lucky 9 times in a row...great... so.... whats for supper ?

hey jovicakralj,heads up is not always easy but 6 all ins in a row really sucks,i got to heads up in a tourney yesterday,we were 50/50 in chips and i got dealt AA,yehaa hes got KQos hits 2 pair and its bye bye to me,so although im not very experienced at HU it seems big pairs dont hold up either.. unlucky but tilt times up,get back to your winning ways and take it down...

Well, luck is VERY important factor in short term, for example in single tournament or session. It's one of the highest variance games (I mean MTTs) so you just need tight bankroll managment and very good mindest to play MTT. And mindset is IMO the most underrated thing in poker by new players and that's why someone with good skill gets busto fast and says "fck poker, it's rigged". Also that's why good players are winning - donks don't know s**t about strategy and/or mindset, so for me it's good But here at BRM we are to help each other so my advice to all of you is to put A LOT OF WORK on improving your mindset, because after watching dozens of awesome mindset videos I see things different ways now and on BRM we have a lot players without any mindset at all, many posts are full of tilt (aka full tilt lol) and a lot of Mobsters should change their approach to poker by 180 degrees.

ul man bad run and can feel like the world against you had similar against some limp calling donks tonight. I would like to ask you all the same whats sites dont you suffer these bad beats because i suffer more bad players on other sites. Its an honest question btw. I find this hard to believe that the luck dont swing your way either as you have built up a nice roll playing HU on stars or i thought you had said that before

This is month old post btw Here is thing. I am now cool head and I can discuss rational this matter with you (and I would really like to talk with you about this cause you are regular on PS) Thing is, and you can notice that in HU very well, that there are some matches that you cant lose. I mean, I had same amount of those like I had amount of those were I cant win. In those games (where I cant lose) I keep hitting every single flop, and not just hitting but I also getting that guy to call me lot of times. He constantly is hitting slightly worse hand then me. I mean, if I raise with 92 off I hit 99 flop, if I am on flush draw I bet hard because I KNOW I will hit it. You just cant do anything wrong. And if you get caught in bluff eventually- no worries, just couple off all ins and you are back. SAME THAT is happening to other people against me. Sometimes, its good player and all is OK, but sometimes its unreal bad player and since I know what is happening I start to limp, to wait hands etc, and when I finally have him, when he goes all in with 92 on 9KQ flop and I have KQ just before river comes I say at loud 9 and there it is. Because I know it will come. Played LOT of HU and I just know scenario. Off course I dont go all in with AK, AQ, JJ against that type of players because I know I will lose. Another thing is: those kind of matches are never individual cases! They happen in rows. If you had bad luck in first and second game- you will have that more!
Now I know you will say downswings are part of game and that is correct, but there is difference between downswing and not hitting any flop and when you hit you have worse hand or you will. Just that feel that I cant win, and that I cant lose makes me think that there is something wrong.
AND YES. Do you accept rematch after losing HU? Here are some FACTS. I made statistics about that. I accept rematch only, off course, when player is worse then me when I lose. And I lose next one in more then 80% of cases! Did you notice that? Try it! Play HU and when you see that somebody is worse but more lucky then you and you lose, accept rematch and you will see...

------------ And yes, I have build nice bankroll but that is not reason not to see funny things Off course that there is 80% normal matches where you getting some cards, he is getting some cards and skill will win... Im not saying that its rigged to make some players win and some players lose in long run... Im just suspicions that they have programmed some percentage of games that you must win and some that you must lose to keep really bad players still playing.

i do know what you mean as i play a bit of HU not that much really but i dont have HM to really study it so i cant be sure but some days its just not your day but you could say this is why lol. would be interesting to see some stats of what your saying all the same
I have heard of people saying these kind of things live all the same in saying that they just know they are going to hit feeling really confident and lucky. I also get like this on other sites too and luck is a certain factor and some bad players make calls they should never make in the first place and get lucky.
P.S i would like to do another HU tourney some time as i never got to play you HU, would maybe get some more interest as Island Jack and messiah are back now who were always up for a BRM game. Sure ATM and a few others may be up for it too and you never know might rope in bigfoot one of these days lol
