I know, this subject lends itself to a lot of jokes. Whoever answers "Mahdrof" will get a hockey stick swung at the back of their heads okay? Halloween is here tomorrow so post your stories, but please keep it to stuff you have actually seen! I have two:
1. In my first year of high school, one of the senior girls was battling leukemia and losing. One day in January it took her life, so the next morning the whole school was observing a minute of silence on a bitterly cold day. Being a very cold day trust me when I say all of the windows in my class and probably the whole school were closed. The door to our class is wide open, we are all standing in silence when all of a sudden the door starts to move and pick up speed and slams shut with a loud BANG! All of us just stood there kind of a little in shock with that one!
2. Last year my father had heart surgery which went well, so well that after a couple of months he had resumed his very active life. One sunny warm Sunday I was in our very long driveway with my kids throwing a ball around, and he came by and wanted to join. One of the throws to him went high and as he jumped up he tripped and fell backward, his head hitting the pavement first. I had my cell phone on me and the ambulance was there within 10 minutes, however the combination of blood thinners from the heart surgery and the shock too his head lead immediately to bleeding throughout his brain. He never regained consciousness and 48 hours later he was declared brain dead. The day he died, after we had come home from the hospital, our local newspaper had arrived in our mailbox. In it was a little story about a fundraiser they were holding in memory of a former hockey player, along with a picture of one of his teams. There, among the players, was my dad in 1946, all of 15 years old. I was stunned.

All 100% true..
We went on a school trip(the class), we were to stay at a church run place, full of do gooders, and victims of circumstances...Anyway, One of my old school buddies had a t-shirt (Iron Maiden or something like that, he always wore a rock type t-shirt) that had a picture of a head stone with names dates etc, as you would expect. Whilst on this trip we were to do the old trace a headstone, whilst doing this we came across one with nearly all the same details as the t-shirt, name dates and part description, was quite spooky.
During my apprentice years I was working in a well known car manufactures(during shutdown) to replace cables, lay new tracks etc etc, I was treated as a spark and did things like panel wiring, trunking work lots of other termination stuff that I was not really supposed to be doing. One day I was asked to go connect up a tap of box which powered the presser, big cables, lots of power, as I made the last connection I became stuck to it, being electrocuted, melted part of my arm against the box and have the in and out scar on my hand, lucky for me, even luckier there was a guy working along side me who bravely booted me off, saved my life. (for some bizarre reason for about a week or so after this I thought he tried to kill me, I was convinced, but know that's not true) The spooky bit now, obviously felt quite sick, verge of blacking out, I tunneled on the the tap of (whilst being electrocuted)and now got more tunneling visions (no longer being electrocuted), a group of guys were radioed to come meet us in the van, as they approached us one of them was death, it was a tripping like effect, he turned back to the guy, and was to take me to get checked over, as I got in the van he once again turned in to death, everything you would expect him to look like,skull bone face, big hud and cape, no knife thing though, he just stared at me. I asked death to take me the toilets as I was going to be sick, tunneled again whist walking, nearly collapsed, could not be sick, my mind at this point was he had come for me, and I wanted to be away from him so he could not take me if I was to black out. the guy/death guided me back to the van, we left the dark basement to join the light and death was still there, but came and went a few times, I was then picked up by my mum who took me to hospital to get checked over, all was good, no dodgy heart. I told no one about death until many years later.
Last one, we made a wedgi board, and messed about with it, can only say a few weird things happened, but to be honest took it as one of us was fooking about, later we burnt the letters and chucked out the board, a few months later (at the same friends house) we opened a writing cabinet, inside was the board complete with letters, possibly a mate trying to fook with us but there was no way of knowing that we would open it as we were looking for batteries at the time, it was all random and he is not that joker type, would have comfiest at some point, many strage things happend in that house.
I guess my tripping experiences don't count here, but I will add a few I currently remember, my town littered with witch like people huddled around small bonfires, a friend holding a conversation with a dog, a friend covered in dust, I tried to get rid, it just suddenly all went, a multicolored wall dripping in a wax like way, could not get enough of that, a friend as another friend, a friend stuck in a nut shell, at least that's what he was saying he was stuck in, we had to help him out! just god damn frigging amazing skys, so much in the skys....oh its all flooding back now I will stop could go on for a while.
