Very nice MicroMachina! I see the prize pool $1074.00, but how's the payout break down if yopu don't mind me asking. Just curious since I've never played any mtt at this point. I stick to the low $$ tourneys and SnG's. This keeps by BR in check until I learn to manage better. have only been playing for about a year now and lost 4 to 5 months due to my whine session shortly after "Black Friday". Anyway good game you played and Good Luck to all!

I love to play mtt's yes. Turbo is nice because it makes me waiting for hands more rewarding. It can be really fast to be at allin or fold phase. Im sure im in for a rude awakening if i ever try higher stakes because the spread in these games is already varied with talent as it is. I can be going along not seeing better then KQ in a showdown for ages but then i see people making very elaborate traps all of the sudden. The game has all types in it and all-ins are the norm at any stage. Sometimes ill find a table of quality players where we enjoy a long grind of solid poker where an allin is sure to reveal a ace high flush or a boat losing to quads.
If you mean do blinds get high fast so u must go allin? not really. these games start you off with 5k and if you find a AA,KK or QQ in the first 5 orbits and are willing to trap somewhat you can triple your stack easily. Its very lucrative in these games at any stage to flat call in early position with AA and get moved allin and sometimes have more then one call before you.
Tyvm Serpang for the kind words and compliments! I really wouldnt be able to maintain my patience if i was the player i was before i started using web sites like this one though. Even now im not following the strategies enough and can only imagine if i was more disciplined.

That's great news MicroMachina, looks like you got the hang of those tournnaments after all. I gotta go improve my MTT game. Just got put out of a good X-mas freeroll. Oh well of to vist the family. Keep up the good work and enjoy the holidays.
