After legal threats/ fund seizure from US authorities, Everleaf has changed their terms and conditions making it against the rules for US players to play on their network.
No person who is resident in Malta, France and USA may open an account, play, or in any other way participate in the ELG offerings and/or services.

other networks to follow ??

Out of curiosity, are there many sites that currently serve France still ? (not segregated).

It was/is only a matter of time, they will all pull out, oddly they were approched by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and not the DOJ, perhaps DOJ is building cases against top dogs.
They were approached after the closing of a US payment processor, I guess that's were the problems lay.
The networks have little options IMO, give in to them and continue or ignore them and have assets frozen and disappear.

For that a french would know more.

But one thing is for sure.
Things in online poker will be worst than last year. The story with US was just the beginning as
it was expected.
European countries followed, and trying to get a piece of the cake.

The game over scenario is coming closer and closer.. With all the major rooms dropping traffic (due to the USA obviously as well as Euro segregation), it is incredible that new rooms are trying to get a foot in the door (Kingdom).

Then again - speaking of Kingdom - The Asian market may easily be the future.. Particularly for Australia - would suit our timezone a LOT better.

Well, I'm a little scared by the sound of this. Especially if they actually seized funds. Threats are one thing but action is scary. I have money at Carbon currently and now I have to wonder if I should be withdrawing, ugh, America, why you gotta be a deuche.

To be fair, it's not just America..Although, they're definitely being the biggest douchebags..

Then again - look at SOPA - then look at the Euro equiv - ACTA - which is even worse!

Basically.. there's a lot of major douchebags our there trying to wreck not just poker, but the whole fucking internet.

a site i dont usually play on...
bugs me cuz i cant resize tbl or shut off sound (tho my buddy can)
so im trying to find upgrade or something
anyways...
had 10bux there somehow(long past wins i guess)
its gone up to 40 recently and my, such easy play
just played 2 freerolls and a small rebuy game
was 1 of the chip leaders on all 3 games
sadly got donked out of one (chaser-huge pot in deep)
ran into aa with my ak on buy in near bubble
and cashed the 3rd (18 of 1295)
They do small freerolls every hr (10-25$) with a few 50,100 and a daily 200$
only few K entries
it is a small site, havent tried cashing yet, if i can upgrade it i may be there more often

Their only problem Serpang that they see (and im not talking only about the US
government, since you probably must know about the changes took, taking and will take place
in europe) is that they see money they dont get a cut off.
Thats their problem.
All the rest about giving a damn about citizens is just crap

Can't argue with that, they're just the leaders of a big ol' douche club, of which there are plenty of members. Plus for me they're closer to home so naturally I'll pick on them the most. All I can say is I hope people are willing to take a stand against the control of the internet, it's unacceptable.
