I thought i would just post this as its own thread though ill make mention of it in my blog post for this morning
So im doing quite well and feeling a wee bit frisky i decided to play one of my favorite forms of poker HU cash games.
THE GAME: $0.25/$0.50 PLO Duration: i would say about 15 mins and thats generous.
So i sat down and bought in to the table with 20 dollars up against a guy who had 35 sitting at the table. very shortly into the game i end up rivering a straight with a monster draw hand against just an over pair... in my opinion not the hand to pay 20 dollars to pay but hey to each is own. so im up to about 40 and he has auto rebought to 50. few small pots back and forth and some general chit chat i end up taking another large pot out of him causing him to again auto buy to 50.
I get JJXX a nd yes the XX was absolute s**t lmfao. flop comes with jack end up all in on turn against his KKXX and theres an ace on board what a fool. sitting just over a 100 he is sitting out so i decided to high tail it out of there!!!

I don’t dedicate much time to HU. A few years ago I used to play it when I had less time, just for a few hands of action, but after losing so many times, I saw HU was not for those who had less time to time, because one needs to have the same amount of attention as in any other type of game.

i also play somtimes hu,by the s n go ,the weird thing is if i play hu buy in 3,50 or 7$ then its a battle,but i played 4 or 5 times hu buy in 55,50$,and if i remember it good i lost that 1 time, normaly how higher the buy in,u dont play whit crap,and the micro hu take more time then the buy in off 55,50$,not always but in the HU i've played and won,pkr can be weird sometimes. but well done,and offcourse to all GL @ the tables

I could actually use more experience in HU. I've won a fare share of SnG's, but I think it could improve greatly. My problem is getting practice at HU is tuff unless of course you practice with the expectation of losing some $$. I mean play money is not good practice due to the overall poker ethics are definitely different so if anyone reads this and has suggestions I'll be following up.
