Okay, so as posted in the last thread, this will be the official standings chart. Tony if you could sticky/allow edits that'd be grand. OP is here: http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id...

The rules are as follows:

Buyin is 100 mob points, which tony will remove and hold in escrow. Payout will be 70/30, meaning 70% for first and 30% for second.

The tourney will be a standard elimination bracket. 8 people on the west, 8 on the east. Each round will be a best of 3 heads up no limit texas holdem match. It doesn't matter what stake you play or where you play, the only stipulation is that the matches MUST be 100 big blinds.

Once each round is announced, you and your opponent will have 3 days to complete your match. Extensions CAN be granted under extenuating circumstances, but out of courtesy it's best to try and finish them as soon as you can.

To start off the tourney, each player will randomly be assigned a number from 1 - 16. I'll randomly choose #'s to pair people up.

So far we have:

(Updated) Okay, so we have our 16, plus an extra 4. I apologize for anyone who didn't make the list, but I went with first to post, out of fairness. I'll leave this list up for 1 day, and unless someone drops out, I'll get tony to deduct points and I'll post the first round.

I wanna say I'm super stoked this is going ahead. Shows what a great community we really have here Smile I think this should be a pretty epic battle.

*Last edit* Tony, I'm not sure if you've read this thread yet, but if you haven't I believe the prize pool was 1600 Mob points 70/30.

That means 480 points to jess, and 1120 to me.

I'm sure you've got a lot more then 100 Mobpoints to spare, but I'd lone you a 100 to represnet me. This means you get your entry and mine to since I can't play at any of the sites other then Carbon. Think they'll allow that?

It's players choice, so long as each player can agree on a mutual room.

*Edit* I'm not sure why not having an account on a particular room should be an issue, if you don't already have an account there, just take one of the free bankrolls. If ones not available, do Tony a favor and just signup through one of the links here anyways. Even if it's just to have play money, at least then you can player there.

Anyway, good luck to all mobsters that will participate and i'm looking forward to see the results!

Thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering about that also.

@ Greenmohave: This means that you, and any players from the USA, can play as well, since it's just playmoney... The payout will be in MobPoints.

Looking forward to it!

@ retribution: If I sign up for a new account, just for play money, will that invalidate any signup bonusses on that site? Since I won't be able to/don't want to clear any bonuses on new sites right now.

Im not sure, that's something Admin would have to clear up. I'm pretty sure, from my experience anyways, that as long as you click a BRM affiliate link, your signup gets credited to them. Once that happens, you're "THEIR" customer forever.

I do believe that you have to accept an offer prior to creating an account, so YES signing up at a site without getting a bonus referral first may end up disqualifying you. But I mean realistically, the Part Poker bonus is the easiest to get on here, so if anything else why not just do that.

*Edit* I will update the player list once Tony grants me editing rights for my OP.

marqis, if you create an account through our link, and you only use playmoney to begin with, then the signup bonus should (usually) still be available for you later on, when you make a deposit.

retribution, you can now edit the 1st post in this thread.

@ Tony and Retribution: Thanks. I think that will work for me. I'm already on PP, it's just that I might try to clear the Pokerstars bonus at some point in the furture, so I would like to avoid having to sign up there. Should not be a problem.

I've noticed some forum members, that in my opinion should, have not signed up for this...

I would very much like to see the following match-ups :
- Jovi vs. Jess (both with long HU winning streaks)
- Jess vs. mascona (let's settle this rigtard discussion once and for all)

I would pay 100 MobPoints just to watch those...

In fact I will put my MobPoints where my mouth is, if this happens... Maybe we can organize some sort of prize fight, to settle these forum questions.

Anyone who feels the same, could donate some points to the "fight" (like pay-per-view), both players getting paid (70-30%).

I think you may have misread my posting (maybe my turn of phrase was a bit awkward).

I'm simply expressing that I would like some of the more prolific members to join, cause it's more fun to have the well known forum members play (added value).

I suppose you took my post to mean that some members that have signed up, shouldn't have. I definitely do not feel that way, as I probably would qualify as one of the least deserving of a spot...

Value would be added if some of the match-ups reflect some of the clashes we've had on the forum, or if some of the stronger, well-known forum members match-up. I would pay some MobPoints to see this happening, and if more of us would, that would make for a nice side-game prize-fight...
