I guess you have only yourself to blame for that passive play at flop and turn. You never gave him a chance to fold his crappy hand. When the real money went in, your opponent had the nuts.

Okay, but 3-betting with 76o OOP is totally fine?
You can expext anything at micros, never ever try to outsmart oponents on this level, just wait for top hands and play it hard. Strategy comes when playing higher stakes not at micros.

I am not sure all in on turn make him fold, at micro usually they don't care possibility, they love play draw and gambling. He just play base on feeling Retribution, next time try go all in on turn, I am sure 80 - 90% he will call ( since reraise preflop, even just call ) just in bubble at MTT micro, they maybe fold when all in on flop ). I dont understand what is in their mind when did it

Posted by Macubaas: Micros and zoom in general have a ton of variance but as a general rule you need bet hard on premium hands, thats for sure.
Just out of curiosity how many buy ins did you lose on this zoom session?
About 2. I'm quite annoyed, because now I'm running around 1.5bb/100 after 14.5k hands. I was running around 4.5, but I've been running well below ev and my winrate has dropped dramatically.

had a similar hand on PP on a final table only it was JJ and the guy won the hand with 7 5 because i played the hand passive from the flop till the end ... almost like u ... thats why when i have trips on the flop i play it very aggresive trying to make him fold ... the only time when i play passive it's only when there are more then 3 players in the hand ... so if u have a good hand just play it strong cause everybody bluffs

hey you are playing micros- basically it means the same as you are playing lottery/ bingo- i am not sure there are a lot of players at the micro limits than make consistent profit- just look at this as way of entertainment- if you go bowling/drinking/f..kin- you spend money all the time- so what's so different about poker?

You lost $10 and your complaining like you have lost your life savings that is hilarious. You wrongly assume because you are playing at the micros means you are going to be up against a bunch of phil ivey prodigys. I can understand hating this loss in principle, but money value come on.

couldn't have said it better.
it happens all the time and ESPECIALLY when playing such low stakes.
That may have seemed like real money to you but trust me your opponents by and large are simply there to throw their peanuts at people.
If this happened on NL25+i'd be a lot more supportive

Yes I won 100k, most of which I withdrew, the rest of which is on FTP. Thus why I'm in the micros. GF said I can't play anything higher until FTP comes back as everytime I get any decent amount of $ on a site, she makes me withdraw it "just in case".

What's sad is playing in the $1.10 SnG last evening and making the final table. Payout is 1st thru 7th and I get busted by this; Greenmohave 10,000+ chips and Zergrush 3,000+ chips.
Green Raise BB 500 chips to 1000 Zerg calls 1000 chips Flop K,6,3 Green Bets 1000 chips Zerg Allin 2000+ Green calls so pot is roughly 7,000 Turn is an A (K,6,3,A) No need to bet player is allin River is a 3 and player beat me with a 6,3 over my AK. Next hand same player beats my K9 suited with a K4 by hitting a 4. Kicking me out at the bubble with double donk calls. It wasn't the money just the fact someone would call my initial raise with a 6,3 and again with a K,4. I looking for this player today! lol

Hi guys!!
Micros. Players min 3betting 76. The fun of this is that hands like that comes all in the same session. These days is better close the lobby, play nothing more and take a rest. Maybe next day will be better.
3bet 76... I love guys who read something about 3bet light and thinks he can do it with anytwo.

For starters who plays poker and makes the money in the first place? YOU. So yeah, don't let your GF tell you what to do with it.
Women are so cautious they hear about a £20 win on something and are like keep it before you lose it all. All £20 life-changing-punds of it.
No ones GF likes them playing poker - but that's tough lol.
As for having money stuck on FTP - most unlucky and it is unlikely to happen again on a reputable site, but you could just cash withdraw smaller amounts while keeping some bankroll in the account.
