The Money is not that much and it represents his biggest prize Money? And he is playing for 40 years in the WSOP? At first, these questions i just made may look that i am joking with Larry Wright, but it’s exactly the oposite. This just shows how difficult is to win na event in the middle of the best of the best.

$101,975 in prize money (the biggest cash of his entire poker career)?? I suppose he was an amateur player who had enough money to go once a year to Las Vegas and participate to WSOP.

I don't how he hasn't won anything yet because in 70s when there were only 15 or 20 participants in WSOP: easier was impossible.

One hell of a wait..

I know he's an amateur but in 40 years you'd think he would have won one before, but like someone said maybe it just shows the level and ability needed to win.

I'll bet he's been close before.

Amazing story though.

cool dude- now that's commitment, comes to wsop every year, gets beaten up. loses the buy in and comes back next year for more, and so on and on for 40 years? i doubt there are many players like him- certainly i feel happy for him and for that type of players in general- hard work and patience pays off

Nice way of seeing things, pochui, this almost seems like a religious thing, geting back to the same place every year, like a ritual, hoping that one day things will change, and now they did. I finally won and can get back to his home and his family, it’s also like if a promessa has been acomplished. Summing all the buy-ins he paid during these 40 years in WSOP, the value shouldn’t far from the $101k he won, now he can see this as the return of his savings in WSOP.
