Just TRYED to play a game of deal or no deal on PKR, then it crashed so i contacted support, they said log out then log back in. Done that still down $1. They got me to go on DX diag give my driver info. Said "theres no problems on our end."
I picked my box my character was still moving, but the rest of the box selections didn't come back up. Could anyone with a computing background please tell me if this is a fault with my driver. Simply because the excuse they gave is it doesn't support driver over 6 months old. So that means many people would get this problem. My pc isn't bad I don't know enough about computers to say how good it is but it isn't bad. PKRs software is like 8 years old, hasn't changed. Like I said I don't know alot about computing but I'd think if anything it would most likely be a problem on their half.
Anyway I digress I said "If I would have played the game I'd only be 0.98c down at most." Which their reply to was "I'm sorry we don't do refunds here..." "Is there anything else I can help you with"

That's pretty shitty - my experience with PKR live support has generally been really good - I would have expected them to maybe give you a $1 ticket or something...
Times are tough there atm - numbers dropping - perhaps live CS have been told to be real tight-asses

no kidding! i know your not upset about the damn dollar it's the point that you've probably never complained or requested anything and they don'y really care. That's what happens when sites have so many players they can ignore someone and it makes one feel expendable. A buck and they should pay it back!

At every online network i had some troubles now and then, some support do very well and some suck big time. I can only say positiv words on PKR but thats maybe cos i am quite high vip with a very good poker manager arround. Back in the days when i grind my way SNGs i had at times troubles with collusion or disconnect ect. Manager Jake was allways perfect with me, did i complain then he allways solved it with some tickets to keep me satisfied

I was thinking about the life time of PKR and it’s true, they must have about 8 years of existance. I remember playing that game too and, besides one always wins more playing for fun ($50) than with real Money ($0.50), i never had problems in going there. And my PC was once a very good machine, 11 years ago when i bought it packed with some nice hardware (4Gb RAM, GForce 4 graph, which nowadays seems like a calculator near to any smartphone… , and always run that game very well.

i think it's not the money or the amount of it (even the smallest one) is the case here- once you play on any site you expect when problems occur support will come and solve the problem in a clear manner- if this doesn't happen you begin to doubt about the whole site, once a few years ago i contacted stars support over lost 0.10 (lost connection when playing mtt) they refunded my 10 cents and i was feeling very happy about that actually so happy that i lost over ....dollars in that year on stars

The thing they said, sorry we do not refunds here its something i dont like at all. In the past i have been reimbursed from sites with my money back and an email with apology. It seemed very rude what they told you
