i know kobeyard and watched some of his videoblog entries !
he is a german FL highstakes regular and pretty successful at the 200/400$ limit ... it's just sick how much money goes across the table in one hand !

I know this is limit but at NL or Pot limit the big pots are around 400K so 7k is nothing Blink

i dont think he even played that hand well, i dont see why he bet that river, if he got raised he would have lost 2 bets, and the chance that that other dude holds an ace seems very likely in a 3 bet preflop hand. And i no that you dont have to be very sure of your hand in limit to call, just cause pot odds but i have no idea what that other dude can have that didnt hold an ace, apart from KK QQ KJ QJ,

but i dont play much limit and missing bets on the river may be partly why

yes thats true its not a very big pot when you see online big stakes but for a 200$/400$ fixed limit game its a very big pot 20 big bets!!!!!
and yes where do you find that the other guy had KJ

im glad that my read of what everyone was doing was rite then, that other player must have been super aggresive to justify that bet on the river. i find that i have far more accurate reads when i sit at a table and havent put any money into a pot, i can sit there and know whos ahead and whos drawing, and wonder why players call with the hands that i was pretty sure they had. But as soon as i have cards in front of me it all goes out the window. Anyone else have this problem

yes my friend. i got the same thing i 'm more focused on there actions thats why i always try to watch the table for like 10 min before i sit down (cashgame)

i find even if i sit there and watch intently as soon as im in the hand i lose all my clarity. It may be just that i hope that they dont have the hand that i think they do, cus that means im beat

i find when im in the game im to attach to the fact that i want to win every hand i play and that that makes me loose focus of the hand it self and when i dont play at the table im just lookin for the right answer and right play wich is the only way to play REAL poker
